BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE..LUNA DO NOT DEAL WITH HER SHE PROMISED ME A 10% DISCOUNT B/C MY PROMOTION CODE WAS NOT GOING THUR. THE BILL WAS 385.13 DOLLARS. SHE INSISTED TO TAKE THE ORDER AND TOLD ME I WILL GIVE YOU THE 10@ DISCOUNT WHEN THE ORDER IS COMPLETED. WELL SHE LYED TO ME. I HAD TO FIGHT FOR THE DISCOUNT. ORDER WAS PLACED ON 8/9/23. I SPENT OVER 2,000 DOLLARS OF CHEMICALS FOR THE SEASON. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.....THEY GAVE ME A HARD TIME...

"If I could give this company a -5star…"
If I could give this company a -5star review I would. In 2020 we bought a pool pump and filter mid summer from them. Genuinely they've been absolute trash. With a dishonest company as the trashman.
The next summer (2021) we had to replace the top of the filter unity due to the seal breaking. dealing with their customer service was a nightmare. But they sent it us.
Summer 2022 we again had to replace the top of the pool filter AND part of the pump's electrical part.
This summer 2023 AGAIN we replaced the top of the filter and we were supposed to get a reimbursement for the part we had to buy for the 3rd time and instead every time we've called about it out call gets disconnected...to this day have not been reimbursed.
AND NOW. We went to go winterize the pool and while the pump was on the pressure burst the plastic lid of the pump. We called to get a replacement for it and we are told they no long sell that pump and do not have the part.
EFFING UNREAL. It's a 3 year old pump that is now absolute garbage. Literally.
We tell everyone to never buy from Doheny's and we will continue to do so.

"Back order limbo"
I ordered a simple plastic union for the Dohney brand pump from their website on July 7. It is now September 22 and I have no idea when I will get my part. The summer swim season is over and I the operator at the Doheny customer service has no ability to help. I called at least 3 times and each time I called the operator simply gave me a promise date 1 week from the day I called. Which is simply a shut up and leave me alone excuse. I asked if there was any other part that could be used to replace it and they had no help for me there. I asked then if I could return the pump and I was told that I only had 30 days to return it. So me and my green pool are a little wiser and a lot less Doheny supplied. Do yourself a favor, if you see backorder, run away.

We purchased a Doheny's solar cover,
Item number 89525, a 28' cover in 2020 with a 7 yr warranty. The cover started losing the blue bubbles and ripping after the first season, Doheny's replaced it with no problem, however one year later the replacement cover failed again with the same issues. When I contacted customer service, I was told to go thru the warranty processes to which I did, however I did not hear back from them. Once again, I contacted them, I was told they had sent me a letter via email stating that I needed to send them a check for 20.00 for shipping of the replacement cover and they would replace it. I never got any correspondence from them. The service agent then stated that I would have to box up the failed cover and ship it back to them!! I asked to talk to a supervisor who said that I did not have to send back the failed cover but would have to send them a check for 20.00 for the handling and shipping of the replacement cover. I have had issues with items not being available, out of stock for months or even canceling because of delays.
Use caution when buying solar covers from Doheny's they do not last and as of this interaction is a total pain to try and resolve.
9/20-2023 I just received an approval for warranty - NOT ONLY DO I NEED TO PAY 20.00 FOR SHIPPING the letter states that I must also include $222.07 for a total of
$ 255.39 for a warranty of 7 years, original price was $201.39 and today is listed at 296.09 DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! THEY ARE RIPOFFS!!

21ft pool cover render useless due to tear. Despite product stating “exclusive non-tearing weave”which is a false claim, a replacement/refund was denied. Even after providing photos as requested by customer service.They then requested for a sample to be sent for “analysis”
I won’t be jumping through hoops for such a poor quality product. The cover is tissue paper thin. You could breathe on it and it’ll rip.
Don’t buy “Doheny” brand labeled products or anything from this companies website expecting quality or proper customer service.

"Buyer Beware"
I ordered two pool pump because I did not a confirmation for my first pool pump and the first one was not listed on my account as being ordered. The problem I have is they charged my credit card for both pumps and delivered the second one to a completely different State than I live in. The person, not me, signed for the delivery and had the pump but Doheny has my money. They will not return my money even though I have showed them proof of where the pump was delivered and the original order from me. I just want my money back for the second pool pump that never came to me but have been working on that for two weeks. It has gotten to the point to where no one will return my phone calls or answer my emails. They know they have my money.
After I wrote this review Doheny’s reached out to me and credited me the money that they had charged me.

"No Customer Service -- BAD BUSINESS"
We purchased an above ground pool solar cover and after just one year, it is delaminating. I followed the directions on getting a refund/warranty replacement/partial refund. They haven't bothered to contact me even though I did everything that was asked for. If I could give this company a ZERO, I would. They don't deserve anyone's business. They just don't care about their customers once they get your money. BAD BUSINESS -- avoid like the plague.

We reached out to Doheny’s then DEI Warranty with photos of our solar cover after 2 years. The offered us $28.00 year 2 of a warranty. This product has a 7 year warranty. I called and wrote They said that is what the warranty is. That isn’t’t close to my definition of a warranty. More like a scam. We have bought all of our pool supplies from them this year. I phoned , spoke with a supervisor and he said, “ I wish I could do something”. I explained he has that ability. NOTHING. I won’t spend a penny there. I’ve switched and paid full price elsewhere. "Poorly manufactured Harris Above Ground Pump -- Even Worse Post Purchase Customer Service"
Purchased a Harris above-ground pump/filter combo from Doheny's (Note: According to Justia Doheny's owns the "Harris Pool Products" trademark). Installed exactly according to instructions. Turned the unit on and under pressure the the sieve well wall cracked from the top (under the lid) down past the right side of the inlet. Obviously a manufacturing defect in the cast resin and one which I could fix - but why should I on a brand, new presumably warrantied unit?
I emailed Doheny with pictures, proof of purchase, and a detailed narrative. Admittedly, my situation was somewhat unique -- I actually needed the filter canister more than I needed the pump. So, pending reply from Doheny's whether they would replace the entire order or just the pump, kept the canister in service (it was already used by that time) hooked up to my old (and better) pump. Two weeks later they have yet to reply and, honestly, I doubt they will -- If they were going to, they would have by now.
Kind of have to question their claim to Customer Service fame...
