Thank you for everything you help us ( Mrs Binh and Mr Nowland) in Thailand. Kai was very professional. She helped us and answer all our questions, she also took pictures and videos for us. Trip to Datong
I took a weekend trip from Beijing to Datong in January 2025 to visit historic sites around the city. My experience was excellent - seamless transition from my hotel to the railway station, outstanding train travel quality, and superb guide Rita who spent with me two days showing important and fascinating places in Datong and around. The schedule was organized by Eva of UME and I could not have designed it better. I was happy to follow their advice to stay in a traditional hotel in the old city that was a unique yet most comfortable experience. Altogether - a great weekend outing that I'd highly recommend. It was cold but sunny and no snow - it's a dry region. I would actually recommend a trip in the winter as, I heard, warmer months may be overcrowded with tourists.

Mr. Ivan from Ume Travel is an excellent person to work with. He helped with with our Pattaya, Thailand tour and Ho Chy Min, Vietnam. Mr. Por Por from Pattaya was our tour guide and he just blew our mind. What a great and awesome Tour Guide. He even mailed our post card the next day. That's beyond our expectation. Unfortunately we could not dock in Vietnam due to weather and Mr. Ivan went beyond to get us refunded. Thank you so much Mr. Ivan for everything for a family of 14. "Amazing family trip to Thailand"

UME Travel arranged an amazing trip to Thailand for our family! Dan Li was our tour planner. He was great to work! He was extremely responsive to every request, resulting in the perfect itinerary for our group which included my 80+ year old mother and young son with multiple food allergies.

In all honesty, I was very nervous about trusting a company that I found on the Internet. It wasn’t until we landed in Bangkok that my fears were put to rest. From that moment forward, all of our guides and drivers were on time, personable, knowledgeable, and accommodating.

Our tour guide in Bangkok was Tanny. She was a lot of fun to be around and full of interesting information, including teaching us a few Thai greetings. We visited many impressive temples and palaces, the floating market, the train market, and a coconut sugar farm, rode in a tuk tuk and was introduced to Thai cotton candy and roti. She was awesome! She handled everything, from transportation to entry tickets and she knew exactly where to go and how to get there. It was so nice to have someone else manage the logistics for us. We had no problems at all. It was perfect!

In Chiang Mai, our tour guide was PJ. He was very laid-back and friendly. He took us to a couple of his favorite restaurants, which were big hits with our family. As in Bangkok, we had no problems at all meeting up with PJ or getting to any of the sites we were scheduled to visit, including the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary, a Hmong Hill Tribe Village and beautiful temples. He was always on time and was very helpful whenever my mom needed assistance going up or down stairs or resting for a bit. He even helped us retrieve a piece of luggage that arrived late and had us try miang kham (delicious salad wrap). We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide in Chiang Mai.

In Phuket, we went on a catamaran to a couple of islands, including James Bond Island. The staff on board were so much fun, the customer service was top notch and the food and drinks were great! So glad we went!

All of the hotels were clean, included breakfast and were located in areas near night markets, massages, street food vendors, restaurants, and shopping. Every day, the guides and drivers offered cold bottled water, cool wet cloths, air conditioned vans, and frequent “happy room” (restroom) breaks. The guides made sure we were safe at all times and aware of our surroundings (backpacks in front on occasion), so thankfully, we didn’t have any problem with pickpocketing.

Because we had such a great experience, I have already recommended UME Travel to a friend. They delivered in every way possible. Thank you, UME Travel!

"This was my second multi country trip…"

This was my second multi country trip with UME Travel. Dan Li was wonderful to work with in planning all the details. My trip to Thailand was extra special with the care and attention I was given. Ooy (Ms. Thassanee) was my guide for Northern Thailand and she took wonderful care of me. As a female solo traveler I know I'm in good hands with UME and will be booking more trips in the future. Now off the Laos to have even more fun.

"Our perfect Cambodian trip!"

We are very grateful to have found UME Travel to help us create the best Cambodian travel experience! We’re avid travelers and we don’t always hire a guide but for this trip, and even though we’d done a lot of research ourselves, we were so glad to have had Ivan help us perfect our itinerary and to have matched us with a really amazing local guide, Sothy (a.k.a. Mr. T) and our sweet Driver for our 9 nights,10 day, Cambodian Trip. We started in Siem Reap for 5 nights, then Battambang for 2 nights and the last 2 nights in Phnom Penh, filled with exciting adventures! Mr. T and the driver were our guides for the entire trip and we really enjoyed being with them. Mr. T was very knowledgeable, informative, professional and just so kind! My husband is a photographer and It's always very important for us that our guide really understands our needs and Mr. T did just that! He made sure that we were always in the best position at the best timing to be able to get that perfect shot. He was so thoughtful and went above and beyond introducing us to new things to try whether it was stopping to see things that weren't on the itinerary or trying out various types of foods that we’d never tried. He was always making sure that we were totally engaged, knowing that we were pretty adventurous and very curious, and yet giving us space to have time on our own as needed. He really knew how to read and handle each situation with care and made our trip so much fun! Our driver was also very kind and always making sure we were traveling comfortably and welcoming us with cold water and towels that smelled so great with a hint of tiger balm. These little details really made everything so great and so comfortable. By the end of our trip, we were so sad to go our separate ways and missed being with them. Thank you so much for giving us an amazing experience of a lifetime! We very highly recommend UME Travel and will go through them again and again.

UME Travel took the guess work out of my planning! Dan Li organized everything for me, and was always very prompt with responding to my questions. We were so relieved to receive texts from our driver and tour guide just before the trip, which took a lot of the edge off of the anxiety of traveling to the unknown. The driver was ready and waiting for us when we arrived, and then the tour guide, Jeremy Liu, confirmed a second time to assure us that he would be picking us up at the hotel. Jeremy was the absolute sweetest, most considerate, thoughtful guide! He was very knowledgeable and took extra care in making sure each one of us was comfortable during the tour. I struggled to keep up with the group due to my weak knees, but Jeremy was always quick to serve as my crutch so that I could walk safely without falling; he even carried my bag! The places we visited were beautiful and so rich with culture. The hotel was outstanding with all the amenities; awesome breakfast! Japan is a gem. We will definitely return to visit, and choose UME again to assist us with our travel needs! I trust UME 100% and will recommend them to all of my friends and family!
