I booked 5 days trip in Bangkok, Thailand with Lan. She is amazing. We originally scheduled my temple tattoo on the 1st day and Elephant Volunteer work on my last day. She was considerate enough to think that I might get infection bathing elephants after getting a tattoo. She switch the days for me. Nina, my Bangkok tour guide, was also amazing! The trip made me feel like I was a part of her family than a tourist. I connected to Thai people, learn about their country and Buddhism and tried extra ordinary Thai street food! Their package was also cheaper compared to another travel agency I inquired with. I will definitely book with UME again!

Amber planned my tour around things I most wanted to see in Kyoto, Hakone and Osaka. Zhu, Clytie and Kiki were charming, knowledgeable and attentive guides. I wholeheartedly recommend UME Travel.

I have changed my review to 3 stars because this company responded in a professional way to my concerns. I hope they follow through with the changes needed to make this tour truly exclusive. I appreciate their response and will now consider booking another tour with them in the future. The type and location of hotels was disappointing. 1 hotel was next to several girly bars. I also had to endure a 4 hour trip on an old boat alone. No one to talk with. Food on boat was not good. Then a 6 hour drive in an old van that bounced so much, my neck got sore. The only thing scheduled was temples. I would think that there was much more to offer in Cambodia.
The best thing was the tour guides. They were very friendly and knowledgeable.
