"Japan in a Week"

Our family cannot thank Steven at UME Travel enough for all the efforts he made to make our trip to Japan the most memorable we could imagine. He managed to schedule many activities on our wish list even though we only had eight days and wanted to visit four cities. Our guides and drivers were simply fantastic, always making sure we were comfortable and well educated. We also appreciated the many tips Steven included with our itinerary about Japanese culture. My husband, son and I took over 500 photos and have compiled many of them into an album we share with family and friends, as well as to renew our own beautiful memories.
Again, thank you Steven and UME Travel for your tremendous support of an amazing sojourn to a very special country.

Absolutely wonderful! Eva Wang was fantastic. She created an incredible itinerary for us, which was executed perfectly. She was responsive and incredibly kind - she even sent a souvenir for my son when the lines were long at Universal, so he missed one attraction he wanted to ride. Honestly, we were so happy with the entire experience. If you plan to travel, use UME (and request Eva). We could never have put together the trip of a lifetime without them!

Can’t say enough good things about our experience with UME Travel, our tour coordinator Amber and our guide Bianco! From the day I emailed for information about an itinerary for Japan last February to our tour in November Amber was there to thoroughly and efficiently answer all my questions and concerns. Her responsiveness was impressive and the itinerary she put together covered everywhere we wanted to go and more. From drivers, train transportation, and our guide Bianco everything worked like clockwork! We saw 5 cities in 9 days, experienced amazing local food and drink, enjoyed a good mix of city sites and beautiful parks and wooded areas. On day one my husband had a dental emergency that caused him considerable discomfort and with the help of a wonderful hotel manager located a dentist that Bianco and our driver got him to. Bianco was our interpreter & saved our vacation! He was fun, interesting and flexible. We loved him! All hotel accommodations booked by UME were also lovely. We continued on to Bangkok to join a Viking cruise from Osaka and raved about UME to everyone we met!

Jah was a wonderful guide! Very personable and fun to talk to, and of course knowledgeable about local landmarks and history. But especially, she gave us a lot of help in navigating our way around the area on our own and was remarkably helpful in making herself available if we needed her. She's freelance, but UME is lucky to have her available.

Where do I begin? The breathtaking views, the incredible food, the wonderful people? Japan, you made this a holiday of a lifetime! My son and I embarked on a dream trip to Japan, and it exceeded all our expectations.
First, the people! They are the most loving and courteous we have ever met. The food? Simply the best in the world! And the views? Mount Fuji, you are majestic!
None of this would have been possible without Dan from UME Travel. We were so lucky to have him come into our lives. He is truly perfect and a star at UME Travel! Dan went above and beyond to ensure this was an experience of a lifetime. He was available 24/7 to answer any questions we had while we were there.
His team, including our guides Young and Kaien, and our drivers Wang, Asobi, Zhao, and Fuji Ggei, were second to none. Young was incredibly knowledgeable, and Kaien was so loving and sweet. Everything was perfect!
If we had any negative, it would be the last hotel, which was too close to the station and not up to the standard of the others we stayed in. However, Dan rectified that the same day, moving us to another hotel and upgrading our Shinkansen tickets to first class (upon our request and we paid the difference 😊). Dan to the rescue every single time!

Ivan answered all our questions and helped us plan our dream trip, he made everything so easy and we didn’t have to do any work for planning, scheduling or booking… Ivan took care of it all! From the moment we arrived at the airport we were met with a warm welcome be Kai! And from that moment on everything was taken care of, Kai made sure we were satisfied and taken care of every step of the way! All of our adventures, hotels, and transfers were escorted by the nicest people! We never had to worry about anything! This is our first time leaving the continent and we were very nervous… UME travel was the best decision we could have made. If you are ever considering traveling to Asia you BOOK WITH UME!!! I booked a 10-day tour of Japan with Dan from UME Travel, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! Dan took the time to carefully create the itinerary we requested, and it was perfect. The hotels were fantastic, and our tour guide, Bianco, was not only knowledgeable but also hilarious, which made the trip even more enjoyable. Even the drivers were punctual and courteous.
