Had to cancel in september 2020 they promised me my money back by end of the year. Still waiting. Contacted them also via ECC. Dont book there. Save your money for honest organizations that value customer care.

Booked through them in August,2019 for cabin in Grand Canyon June, 2020 for our 59th wedding anniversary. On way there heard on radio the canyon was shut down because of fire. Park authorities told us Flixhotels should have notified us because they were notified. Have been fighting with them ever since for refund!!! First they said by Dec, 2020. Now there saying some time in 2021!!! Plus they say if you contact them it will take longer!!!! In reading reviews looks like if all goes well it’s OK but better not have to cancel!!! NO REFUND!!!

Same story here in Finland, I cancelled my booking on March 2020 which was taken with free cancellation. They replied something about German government instructions that they can delay payments till end of 2021.
Cancellation had nothing to do with Covid or Germany. Hotel was in Bulgary, I am totally dissappointed and still waiting for my money.

I cancelled nearly 1 year ago. Free cancellation was included. Customer service is almost non existent. Most horrible company I dealt with in my life. Only excuses and lies.
