Avoid! Received a perx card from my employer. It's the worst app, company and customer service that I've ever encountered. Nothing but issues and problems. First the app wouldn't accept the apostrophe in my name/email, then when that was resolved the verification code wouldn't come though. Now after finally being able to access the card it isn't accepted on multiple websites due to two factor authentication but no instructions are given regarding how to enable/set up. I rang customer service for assistance and after waiting over 30mins the agent was so rude and unhelpful. Really disappointing, the service is fundamentally flawed. There shouldnt need to be continuous fixes for this and that, it should just work. It really shouldn't be this difficult!!!

Been trying to get my account balance all afternoon, without success. Appalling system where apparently they take money of the card every month. My card seems to be invalid although it says it is value until 09/27. It was purchased in Nov and should have money still on it . Stressful and a rip off.

READ THE REVIEWS!! These cards do not work. We had to order 3 cards, each one did not work. We were told they were hacked - that's the latest excuse. We are still waiting on our money back. Hours spent on the phone, so much time wasted. Don't go there. Someone should report them to the ombudsman

My card randomly stopped working along with thousands of others. I have reached out for a reissue and it is currently two weeks and counting waiting for a resolution. Glitches can happen but the Customer Service resolution has been awful

Card received from employer as a bonus. Get my ecard app doesn't verify. No response from perx customer service. Seems like EML is sinking as their share prices plummet. Wouldn't be surprised if they've taken all the money before they go belly up.

"Doesn't work for online shopping"
Followed the instructions and eventually got the card to save to my Google Wallet and it can be used for in-store purchases.
Cannot get it to work online though. I tried a number of different sites and they won't accept the card.
I looked up how to use it online and the verification site from Perx is saying that the card number is invalid as well!
Emailed them about it hours ago but got no response.
Giving two stars because it works in-store, but I really wanted it to work for online shopping also

"Ordered card but can't access funds - AVOID!!!!"
Ordered digital perx card on November 9 and 13 days later still can't access it. Have tried to download/called/emailed several times and repeatedly told that 'IT' are working on the problem and that a new link will be sent following day (have heard this a number of times now). Will never use again - disgraceful not to be able to access the card after paying for it. Avoid avoid avoid avoid! I will never use this company again - its back to the reliable An Post One4All in future.

"One Star Is Too Much"
Received Digital Cards from our employers as a treat for Black Friday. Received emails with no verification codes or card numbers. Was told it would be sorted by close of business. It’s been 3 days, multiple calls and emails later and no apology, explanation or resolution. Such a disappointing experience.

UPDATE #3: The Perx team have advised me that they have messaged me in order to resolve the issue, yet I have not received a single message from them. Seems to be the typical port of call for them to pass the book and gaslight.
UPDATE #4: Rang the helpline once more and was advised by Shane in "card activation" that there was an issue with digital/virtual cards and IT were working on sending out replacements and our should arrive by... you guessed it, close of business. Advised Shane this was our 3rd time hearing such a guarantee.
Incredibly poor business model and customer support. Can not recommend enough that you steer clear of Perx/ELP because it's honestly just thievery. Cards were ordered almost a week ago and we still cannot use them or access them.
UPDATE #5. Nearing close of business and FOR THE FOURTH DAY, and once again no correspondence from Perx/EPL. You would almost swear that the business was not paid given the lack of respect and communication they exhibit to their CUSTOMERS.

Prefacing with a message to the Perx auto-reply bot - don't bother apologizing.
Why, why, why did you change my gift card mastercard number to a stupid, unusable string of numbers and letters?
I allege that this is a massive fraud that needs investigated.
By a stroke of luck I had saved the original mastercard number to Amazon and was able to spend the remaining balance.
Never using Perx again. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
