"Hyperoptic has recently gotten worse"

Hyperoptic has recently gotten worse, customer service is absent, I have been in a phone queue for more than 1h, no answer. The service is slow and jumpy, and there is no communication when they do maintenance work.

I'm soon going to switch providers because this is unacceptable. It didn't used to be so bad.

I had to move from my current place and Hyperoptic was not providing service at the new postcode. Still they charged early termination fee. And by the sound of it seems to be a small charge for terminating but actually it's the amount you would have paid for the rest of your contract. How is that even fair?
Take the money and just bugger off, this is the last penny that I will ever give to this company.

Saw an offer for broadband a few days ago which suited my needs perfectly. Contacted the sales team on Fri 31st Jan and spoke to Anastasia. Very helpful, answered all my questions and took my details. She then passed me to her colleague Selena (?) in the activation team. Also very polite and helpful. Turned out I needed to have an engineer visit first to check the router that was pre-installed in the house when I moved in. I could have chosen a slot on Tues 4th Feb but it was more convenient to go for Wed 5th (in other words, I didn't need to wait for weeks for the visit to happen). I was kept informed by texts of arrival time, and when Ben turned up he was also very helpful. Did what he needed to do and answered all my questions. I was up and running and he checked the speed and that was that. Job well done by everyone! Thanks.
