"Vape didn't work properly so was wanting a refund"
Vape didn't work properly so was returned. Once checked I was told I couldn't have the money back but could have a replacement (already had to buy a new one) or a credit but had to bring back the spare pod. I decided I would use the credit to get juice and pods which would cost me more than my credit but that was fine. Was told by store that because the pods I returned were used they wouldn't give me a full credit even though I had been told via a phone call that I could. Both pods had been used trying to get the vape to work and the juice to stop leaking. Stand up arguement with the woman in the store. I couldn't speak to the manager, couldn't have a business card, couldn't have an email address, couldn't have the managers name and couldn't have the women who served me name either. They have their own policy ( apparently above the nz retail laws and the consumers guarantee act). I was told I didn't have any right to raise my voice and I wasn't welcome to come back to the shop again. Eventually she handed me over $40 and I left. I will never ever go to Eastgate Christchurch Shosha again and in fact I will never go to any Shosha store again. After reading these reviews I can see that the man who owns this company must be a very rich man with policies like this. I haven't read one good review so far. Disgusting customer service and I don't necessarily blame the staff member who I dealt with either because at the end of the day she was only doing what she was told by her manager. Stores like this shouldn't be allowed to operate unless they can adhere to the laws of the land. I will be lodging a formal complaint with the appropriate government department for further investigation

"What an absolute joke."
I wish I had seen these reviews sooner but unfortunately I had already spent $100 and got a bunch of BS sent in the mail.
Shosha has a very unusual and quite impossible returns & exchange policy and as everyone else mentioned, customer service is a joke.
I purchased;
2 x 30ml bottles of the non-iced version of Feijoa - Shosha branded
1 x 30ml bottle of the non-iced version of Watermelon - Shosha branded
1 x 60ml bottle of MARS juice
I was really excited to try the Feijoa liquid and the HUGE hit of ICE was so harsh and concentrated that it took me a bit by surprise as the flavour profile listed “a hint of ice” which I interpreted as “a little bit” not “this will sear your throat and lungs”.
Not only was it a harsh ICE product but it also has absolutely nothing to do with Feijoa, whatsoever.
There is two types of Feijoa that Shosha offers, one ICE and one NON-ICE.
You’d assume when purchasing something labeled as Feijoa (without the ICE) would either smell or taste like Feijoa and that it wouldn’t contain any harsh menthol flavour but I got exactly that.
A brutal ice product without any thing related to Feijoa.
I also then read about the Watermelon flavour and people also stated that it was an ICE product and so I didn’t use any of it because I was intending on just exchanging it.
The MARS one however, is actually decent and that might be because it isn’t a SHOSHA brand.
Now, as soon as I received these products and tried the “Feijoa” I despised it and was upset to have spent $50 on two small 30ml bottles of useless, menthol, garbage water, I contacted customer support immediately after reading through their Terms and Conditions, as you need to contact them basically as soon as the products arrive.
But APPARENTLY you can’t return any products once they’ve been opened, even if their products have been mislabeled and misleading to consumers.
The only way they’ll accept any products returned to them is if they’re unopened so explain to be how a consumer is supposed to know the product is entirely false without opening it?
Are only psychics allowed to return or exchange products?
Are we supposed to be able to smell and taste the products while they’re still in their packaging?
How exactly does that work?
I’ve been denied the opportunity to return the two bottles of “Feijoa” and the bottle of “Watermelon” because customer service is also up for interpretation.
Seems like this “company” is all about misleading their consumers and just taking alllllllllll their money and leaving them disappointed.
I’m deeply disgusted and appalled by how incompetent the staff is.
They have no issues taking your money but heaven forbid you don’t have a knack for the supernatural and can’t just sniff out BS before the products even arrive to make sure you can attempt an exchange or refund.
I hope you get investigated and made to overhaul your practices because people need to know what they’re buying into.

"Far to expensive and extremely bad customer service"
Far to expensive, bought stuff online. Never showed up and then got asked to pay again so they could send it out (after full payment incl shipping had been paid) told them I won't pay extra so they just refunded me the product. Didn't refund any of the shipping money I had already paid. Lost all future business from me

"Purchasing through website from Auckland but dispatched from Palmerston North"
I placed an order on Friday and it said overnight delivery, realizing that it may take longer than that - I wasn't bothered.
However what annoyed me was seeing that it was collected from senders location by the local courier driver based at Palmerston North CP Depot? When the delivery address is in Auckland.
Today I have tried numerous times calling the local Shosha, their 0800 number no answer and left a message on Messenger which hasn't been seen yet and this is 2 hours after message was left on messenger.
If I had known that it was going to be delivered from Palmerston North, rather than from my local Shosha which is only 20minute drive I would have bought from elsewhere. I would carefully consider purchasing from Shosha in Lockdown level 3-4 in Auckland in the future. Very poor customer service and follow up service. At the very least you should be ensuring someone is manning the messenger service, this is something that is easily accessable and keep your customers happy or engaged. Customer engagement and service is something I consider especially during lockdown and I am looking to support smaller local retailers that look after their customers especially during lockdown.
N.B I called Palmerston North branch of Shoosha and they kindly gave my details through to Chai - Customer Service Manager - An absolutely example of poor customer service, basically he sounded quite nonchalant and said 'so if we don't have any product in the Auckland warehouse, where do you expect it to come from' I was floored - at least let the customer know, we don't have stock in Auckland and it would need to come from elsewhere would've been a great start. Oh well, shosha will loose customers. I would've expected better from Customer Service Manager.

"ordered some stuff from them 4 days ago"
dont bother with these guys, ordered some stuff 4 days ago and its still being processed, yet they gladly took out the money for the order and there is no way to cancel it through the website that looks like it was made by a guy straight out of high school.

"Online ordering is a joke"
Online ordering is a joke. They’re blasting “overnight delivery during level 4” on their website but both times I’ve ordered, this hasn’t been true. My latest order, I placed on a Thursday morning, after not receiving an update on Friday I contacted them to get an update, with no reply. Again, I contacted them on Saturday to find out what was going on and again didn’t get a reply. All of a sudden my order had been processed and shipped (I think they realised they’d forgotten it). If I’m lucky, it will arrive by Tuesday…still no contact from their support team, despite me following up a 3rd time. Absolute joke.

"25% more expensive and replacemen…"
25% more expensive and replacement products such as caliburn coils and replacement pods are of lower quality than other sellers. They source from cheap OEM manufacturers is seems. Don’t get me started about the oils. Taste like detergent and also much more expensive.
