You pay for what you get. Having travelled extensively we thought we would give inspired vacation a try. Unfortunately we have found the tour while meets some of its promises it misses on a lot as well. Travelling in peak times the company just appears one of the pack. No initiative to get at a location early to miss crowds etc. no warning on immigration requirements (QR codes) required and timing not important. Waiting in lines while may be acceptable one or twice everytime gets to one's ability to enjoy. Tour guide does try hard but he even admits it could be better organized

I booked a trip to Japan with with Inspiring Vacations on March 4, 2025 for a trip that was to start May 13, 2026 with another couple. The next day the other couple learned of a conflict in their schedule for the trip dates. We phoned Inspiring Vacations on March 6 (2 days later) and cancelled. Their website states "Relax knowing our 7-day cooling off period gives you peace-of-mind.". We were told that our refund of $3998, per couple would be refunded within 7 to 14 days (Note, the charge went on our credit cards within minutes of the reservation on March 4). I have phoned a couple to times since then and have been told their credit department is working on it. Today (March 25), I was told that it would take 14 to 21 BUSINESS days, not calendar days. Now we are looking at the refund being processed on April 3. In the meantime, I have to pay this amount to my credit card company, since this is on the statement. Please think twice before you book with this company.

Update: I got my refund on 3/27 (took 21 days). Our friends are still waiting for their refund as of today 3/29.
