"Arrogant insisting 10 days plus for orders."

I find the delivery time from 5 to 10 days in todays time and than insisting to deliver orders after 10 to more days is very arrogant. I asked after 8 days where my order is and been told will need further 10 days, therefore I canceled my complete order, now the company insisted to send after 12 days and even I have cancelled to ship the unwanted goods to me, now I have to inform my credit card company that I have not received the goods. I ordered a Kamado Joe and had the Grill after 48 hours in my garage.

"Great value, fantastic quality and very good customer service"

Having purchased our pergola recently and now built, we love it.. Service team were great and were great with advice about securing our pergola, given all our wonderful storms we are having in the UK!
Love the heater (Bluetooth) and our funky lights. House of teenagers planning numerous outdoor parties already. Highly recommend Harbour lifestyle.

"From start to finish Harbour Lifestyle…"

From start to finish Harbour Lifestyle have been excellent. We had a minor issue rang them and they were great sorted us out straight away. The term you get what you pay for is fitting. Excellent quality great customer service and even the delivery team were great. Would definitely recommend 5☆

"Beware of the slopey shoulders from this company. Fitting carried out by a sub contractor Jugsaw, our faulty product still unusable! "

We ordered our Pergola in February and opted for the fitting service offered. This company subcontracts the fitting. The Pergola was fitted on 19th March. Some aspects of the fitting are left to the customer but ok, however the crank handle that closes the louvres to provide a weather proof sitting area does not work. Harbour were informed the same day with a video, email and follow up call. We were informed that the subcontractor (Jigsaw - is that the only one they have?) would contact us, it was pointed out that our contract is with Harbourlifestyle not Jigsaw.we were eventually given a date if 9th April for them to come back which we said was not soon enough, Harbour said they would chase- no change to date until yesterday when a voice mail message from Jigsaw said they would not be coming on 9th April, did not even have the courtesy to offer another date as they are ‘behind’ because of the weather! Another email has gone to Harbour but just a standard response - have no faith in either company now and may well rescind our contract. Cannot believe it’s that difficult to get someone out to remedy what is probably a detached crank handle - covered by a plate. The company just has slopey shoulders saying we have to wait for Jugsaw - our contract is with you Harbour, not Jigsaw. Cannot believe you can just take money for a product that is not fit for purpose and then abandon your customer. Extremely poor customer service which needs remedying. Dissatisfied and disappointed of Somerset.
Update: after posting this review amazingly the original date to remedy the problem with the pergola was reinstated. The 2 workmen from Jigsaw were not the original crew (of 4) but very swiftly identified that the final tightening up of bolts had not been carried out so everthing to do with the louvres was loose and the crank handle had come out of its fitting. We are pleased that this has all been remedied but still feel the delay between installation and follow up was poor. We therefore would give this a two star review. Harbourlife should have a back up crew available to troubleshoot especially given the country wide spread of customers. So we wouldn’t agree with “delighted” and hope that lessons will have been learnt!

"This parasol is great but…"

This Eros cantilever parasol is great. My only negatives are
1. The instructions are not tailored to this particular model, but do give clues which help. The packet of screws etc doesn’t match the instructions, so initially we thought the required bits were missing.
2. It is quite huge when closed up so ideally needs a big space out of the way. We call it the monument.
3. I wish I’d had enough funds to buy the granite stand on wheels so that I could’ve pushed it out of the way when folded. There is no chance of moving it once the plastic stand is filled with sand and water in the 4 sections. Each section weighs about 22kgs and one would need 2 people to remove the parasol first.
4. A pole is supplied which we PRESUME is to help reach the top of zip & cover without a ladder, however it has no top plastic/silicone plug or hook on it, at the top or bottom of the pole and I’m worried the bare metal cut will damage the cover eventually.
5. I spent over 30mins on their chat bot staring at a screen waiting for a reply to my query and in the end gave up and phoned. They have asked for pics of the pole! Jury is out on this one.

"Strongly recommend "

Excellent customer service - I dealt with Siana who could not be more helpful - she answered our many many questions and fell over backwards to make the delivery date work for us

The furniture appears to be fabulous - I guess time will tell if it lives up to its promises but I have no reason to doubt that it will

If there is a negative it is nothing to do with the product or service but the courier company weren’t as ‘on the ball’ as the product and service!!

They dropped the boxes by my car after lack of concentration meant he dragged a big heavy box along the back side of my car - fortunately the mark rubbed off - I think the courier service could be upgraded maybe??

After we placed the order we noticed that Costco were selling the loungers considerably less - I mentioned this in a message to Sania and she immediately offered to price match

Overall I strongly recommend and have everything crossed that the product remains in good condition
