A great tool that should help with any CV, making it better

I’ve subscribed for one week
Today they renewed my subscription without my permission for one month and took alot of money

Time waster, spent an hour writing a cv as it shows up as FREE and then charges £16 monthly,

realistically a one off cost makes sense but why would anyone need a subscription service for a CV builder its a one time thing?

I’d pay £2/5 for the template building ability but why monthly

"Avoid My Perfect CV"

I had a very negative experience with My Perfect CV. I initially thought I was making a one-time payment, but I was charged 24.95 each month thereafter. While I vaguely remember using the service, I only noticed these recurring charges after they started. When I attempted to log in and cancel the payment, I couldn't find my account. The company claims the details are in the fine print, which feels very dishonest. I would strongly advise against using this service.

I am about to call my bank and report you after checking my bank statement. Following this, I will be calling the police as I have a screen shot of cancelling my subscription on my Apple Account.

You mentioned a 14-day free trial, but I never applied for it. NEVER. I only made a one-time purchase for resume editing. I have not received any notification emails from you - I have checked my email. I request that you provide me with the contract and the usage records of my account on your website, as well as the emails sent by your company.

Templates very good, file type flexibility is good too, Ability to save and edit very clean as well.
One suggestion. Be upfront about the fee, it’s presented as a free service and it’s a major dissatisfied to get the bad surprise right at the end after you’ve invested a chunk of time and effort. Being upfront you’d create trust and loyalty. The bad surprise at the end is cynical and kills any goodwill you’ve built up. I so nearly stopped at the point. I left it an hour or two and had decided to quit it , then fortunately I decided it was worth it to pay the initial amount.

To be clear these guys have a great product. They’re authentic and customer focused, it’s a really good experience and are top marks already. 👍👍👍
