This is 100 percent a SCAM false company. 855 is a common “area” code that scammers use. I am asking for a refund of my “99.00” sign up fee. But GUESS WHAT? They actually charged my acct 385.00. SHAMELESS STRAIGHT UP THEFT. I only agreed to 99.00 that I THOUGHT was my FIRST MONTHS payment. Why did I fall for a scam? I don’t know. I was in the car and i thought I had called covered California but of course the scam company pops up right over covered California. I was TOLD that my policy was with “FIRST CHOICE HEALTH”. Close but no cigar. The real insurance company is called “FIRST HEALTH CHOICE”. They claimed that the policy monthly fee was based on my “reported income” which seemed fishy I asked if they needed a w2 and they said no. That the company “trusts” my declared income. Hmm sure. Nobody works on the weekend. What health insurance has nobody on the weekend to call? The woman said my policy had “16k” doctors who accept. That seemed awfully high. For one city even if it is LA. When I checked the phone number and it came up a scam number I ran to my bank to contest the charge but so far it had not been posted so I have to wait till it posts. I wish I had not done this over phone when I was driving and couldn’t Google to check any of the facts. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS BS false front. I never HEARD the term “innovative partners” from the woman “selling” me a Policy. Wonder why not? It’s really sick to prey on people looking for health care. And for the women I spoke with -wow. Don’t you feel dirty at all stealing peoples money who are desperate for health care? Shameful.

Worst insurance ever. Most doctor's offices don't even know what it is. They keep denying claims my doctor sends. They only covered a small fraction of my mammogram and bone density scan. They are impossible to get a hold of. Once you do there is so much background noise you can hardly hear them. It almost feels like a scam but they do pay a tiny bit. It's cheap insurance so you get what you pay for. Your better off paying for better insurance.
