"This company scammed me out of $550"

This company scammed me out of $550. After being sold a policy, I realized this was not what I intended to sign up for. I called and communicated, and was assured I’d receive a refund within 7-10 business days. Instead, I was charged again. They refuse to refund any of my money because they did not record the call where I was promised a refund. As a newly single, pregnant woman, this financial blow is negatively affecting my ability to care for my medical needs. This company needs to be help accountable for lying, stealing and scamming pipe who are seeking medical care.

I had my monthly charge for the plan debit earlier than expected. I called customer service ready to give them a peace of my mind but Nick was but helpful and apologetic and changed my billing date so that it adjusted with my pay schedule. I wasn't expecting them to be so proactive but they have a customer for life now=!

"I first signed up for this plan on…"

I first signed up for this plan on 5/16/24. I was told that it would be effective as of 5/17/24. I was also told to go to first health to find my provider. My provider was showing as covered. When I made my appointment my doctor couldn’t verify my insurance. They kept stating my member id of G99915 was invalid. I called the innovative health and they stated yes my plan is active however I would t be able to use it for a full 30 days unless it was an emergency. I called today on 7/11/24 to the 866 949 3581 number. I attempted multiple times to get through to someone. When I did finally reach someone the young lady was very rude. I gave her my information and the nature of the call. She proceeded to ask me why I needed to cancel my insurance. I told her what happened and she stated well the doctors isn’t doing their job and they should have called them. I then asked her about canceling my insurance and she stated I’m just trying to have a conversation. I then explained I have the right to cancel my insurance and would like to. She then hung up the phone. Every time after this call someone will pick up the phone and hang up. I called from another number for this same young lady to answer the phone only to give my information again for her to hang up the phone. I had to report them to my bank for fraud to stop any payments and cancel my debit card so they will not take anymore money from me. I have also reported them to the BBB. This company will word things in responses as so customers don’t understand their policies. I’m very well aware of how my policy works however no need in being rude when I want to cancel my policy and avoid my calls so your company can attempt to make more money from the consumer. This company will run a scam and fraud you out of your money. They are only willing to work with you when you give them money however when you want to cancel your plan they will do everything to avoid from canceling so they can continue to take money from you. Also there is a joinder agreement in the plan details about you and the company becoming a partnership. Never in my life have I heard of becoming a partner for purchasing a health insurance plan where I have to commit to 500 hours of work a year. This goes to show how fraudulent this company is. Please be aware and read any BBB reviews prior to working with this company. They are all negative. They are also not even BBB accredited. Whoever their general partner Jimmy Sutton is needs to look closely at the fraud these people are committing.

Although the plan I was on was really basic, I never had any problem getting checkups, and I also saved money on prescription drugs. The plan I was on was not intended for serious medical conditions, but it was ideal for routine check-ups, telemedicine, and basic coverage...

I had a plan with Innovative for about 10 months before I was able to get coverage through my employer. The plan I was on was pretty basic but every time I went for a check-up I didn't have any issues, I was able to save on my prescriptions too. The plan I was on was not designed for major medical issues but for basic coverage and telehealth, check-ups etc it worked very well.

Was a little nervous signing up at first but then got my ID card in the mail and was able to login to the member portal to see my documents. Sign-up process was really easy but you have to speak to an agent on phone.
