I had a wonderful experience with Discovering Ireland. I wanted an itinerary set up for me to help lower the stress of planning for a trip to a country I had never been to. And I got just that and more! Having the trip booked for me freed me up to enjoy the moment and experience as much as possible while I was there. Maria went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and the details were just right. I'd book again through Discovering Ireland and highly recommend them to friends/family.

We recently returned from an 8-day Self-Drive tour of Ireland and had a wonderful time! Maria was great help to us in setting up and modifying our trip before hand. We were travelling with another couple who at first thought they wanted a separate car, but ended up in the same car with us. Maria handled that change like a pro.
We had no trouble at all with our rental car (which was good sized for 4 people and luggage) or with any of our lodging. Before the trip, Maria found that one town would be hosting a rugby tournament, so we were rebooked to a different location. By far, the BEST accomodations were at Loch Lein Country House in Killarney. The rooms were huge, the breakfast was outstanding, and the hosts were delightful. They gave us detailed ideas on how to tour the Ring of Kerry and we found some hidden gems!
The list of sights to see was thorough and gave us lots of options. We put together a schedule that allowed us to see a wonderful assortment of what Ireland has to offer.
We are so glad we chose Discovering Ireland and so thankful that Maria was so efficient and helpful!

Maria did an amazing job at making my vacation exactly what I wanted. Every request was handled immediately and to my extreme satisfaction. The tour companies took great care of me, the guides were knowledgeable, funny, and entertaining. All in all my first trip to Ireland was amazing. And yes, I'm already planning my next one through Discovering Ireland.

We were fortunate to have come across the Discovering Ireland website while my wife and I were planning our trip. With so many choices of places to go and things to see we were having trouble narrowing our options. We found the website for Discovering Ireland useful in pointing out the highlights of the different counties and helping us choose which ones to spend our time in. Maria Lieb was our contact and after discussing with her where we wanted to go, and for how long, she made the reservations for us. All of the places she reserved were perfect, from B and Bs to 4 star hotels. She put our car reservation together, handled the insurance and sent a packet of information about the country and sites to see along our routes. Discovering Ireland was the perfect compromise between planning a trip on your own and going with a group. No hesitation about recommending them.

From start to finish my experience with Maria was absolutely professional and positive. Maria asked all the right questions, was patient and accommodating when plans were changed. We chose to visit Galway, Dublin and Belfast and our hotels were top rate. The day trips to see the Cliffs of Moher and the Giant's Causeway was stunning. The booking for our trains from city to city was done for us by Maria and truly enjoyable. Lastly, I do plan on visiting again, this time the south/south west of Ireland and I know that I will work with Maria again. Thank you!!!!!

What a grand time we had on a 9 day trip through Ireland !!! Our chaffeurred motor coach made it so much more enjoyable. Our driver was knowledgeable on all things Ireland. The hotels were impeccable. The meals were divine. The golf was outstanding. But the Irish people we met everywhere were our highlight. Maria, our travel agent, nailed the entire trip's details. We'd all use them again !!!! Slainte !!

This is my second time working with Maria Lieb to plan a visit to Ireland and she is wonderful to work with, responsive and our trip was amazing! "Best experience for first time international travelers!"

This was our first time out of the country, and we knew we were going to need some help planning. Stephanie with the Irish Tourism Group made everything so easy for us! We decided to go with the rail tours. We were going to be there for 9 days, so Stephanie helped condense some things down to fit some of the places that we for sure knew we wanted to go. Once she had planned and booked certain hotels, tour guides, or activities, she sent over our prepaid vouchers for those items as well as an awesome itinerary! This itinerary was not only a day by day of what was booked and how to get there, but also included a bunch of other activities or places to go look at in the towns we were in. She added information on what they were about and how to get there if we wanted to go see it. This was great because if were decided we wanted to go out and do more things we could, or we could decide to rest. The itinerary was flexible where it could be which was nice. It did not feel like we were rushing to get to anything. Also, if we ever had questions throughout the day about our Itinerary or vouchers, Stephanie was always quick to respond by email. Our first driver, Jon, was also the sweetest guy! He was incredible helpful and looked out for us as we first touched down into Dublin. We would definitely recommend this group to everyone.

All our accommodations were great! We were never disappointed with were we stayed. If we did this trip again we would choose to stay two nights in most places instead of one night. It was a little exhausting moving to a new destination and sightseeing everyday.
