Maria was outstanding. We had been planning this trip for a few years, government rules kept changing and we needed to avoid uncertainty. Maria kept up with us the entire time, always keeping in touch. She was very, very helpful planning our destinations, selecting excellent places to stay, and being a font of information and was always so professional even with out barrage of questions. There were no surprises or disappointments the entire trip. From travelers insurance to rental cars, to FAQs, we were very prepared. It was a great trip and working with Discovering Ireland Vacations was huge part of it.

"Our B&B's were great"

Our B&B's were great. The trip was planned so we did not spend our driving days on the road too long. We stayed across the street from a Castle, in an amazing Castle, 2 residential homes coverted to a B&B a short walk from the town center and a couple of hotels. The food and hospitality were great in every location. Many thanks, Maria, for helping us plan our driving holiday.

It indeed was a wonderful trip. We loved Ireland! From the beginning, Maria Lieb at Discovering Ireland has been so helpful to us. She always answered every question immediately, and when we left for this trip, we were confident. The materials provided were beautifully and professionally done. We took a small binder with vouchers and itineraries, etc. – so helpful.
Everything from historical attractions to hotels and pubs to tours and the helpful and friendly people we met exceeded what we expected.

"Ireland Self drive tour - Fantastic!"

Discovering Ireland planned an amazing 7 night self-drive tour of Ireland for my husband and me! The communication with the reservation agent to design the trip was excellent; she made sure to include every one of our requests (even side trips to a few personal locations that we wanted to see!), and the company planned every detail from hotels (all wonderful, especially the castle overnight stay!), vehicle rental, vehicle insurance, specific driving routes, sightseeing highlights along the routes, and even some Irish pub recommendations at our various overnight locations. We had an issue with the vehicle GPS operation, and although the vehicle rental agency would not address this, Discovering Ireland offered a full credit to compensate for this not working. Our trip was amazing thanks to Discovering Ireland ! I highly recommend allowing this company to plan your Ireland adventure!!

I really lucked out when I picked you to plan our trip around Ireland. The accommodations were awesome and the route covered all the bases.
When you have 6 fun-lovin guys go on a pub hop in Ireland, Canadian guys what do you expect. Well we managed to knock off 101 pubs in 12 days.
But the problem was we ran out of days before Ireland ran out of pubs.
BEST HOLIDAY EVER!!!!!

"Discovering Ireland experience"

Very pleased with our experience with Discovering Ireland for our 8 day trip. Maria was very prompt in responding to our requests/changes by phone or email. B&B’s and hotels chosen for us were very good with private bathrooms and excellent breakfasts. Rental car arrangements were exactly as requested. Detailed driving instructions (with GPS coordinates) to each nights lodging were very helpful as were suggestions for tourist attractions along the way. Highly recommend if you are inclined to purchase your own airfare and customize your vacation instead of buying an inflexible all inclusive package tour.
