"Wouldn't recommend."

Nothing but issues really.

we used mark Andrews used cars in Dumfries (18 miles away). They were great to start with and looked for the type of car we wanted. Showed us on the laptop as the car was down south. Signed paperwork for the finance and stupidly didn't think anything of them only giving us £50 for our old car (it was a crap box and we thought it was going to just be scrapped!!). Told that we would sign final paperwork on the day. There was a hold up in getting the car as they had to mot it. When we picked it up it was dark so we didn't notice the damage on one of the rear windows and the small chips to the windscreen. Also when we picked it up it wouldn't even turn on. We had to spent 1.5 hours waiting for them to sort out the codes on the box with three young children!

Off we went finally and had no issues minus a couple times the code wouldn't work and they had to send new ones. The damage to the window didn't bother us (would have made them fix it first if we had seen it before we signed though). Get to 10 days past the warranty and low and behold the car breaks down. (Car has been looked after well with full service and other bits along with full pass on mot minus the window even though autoglass had worked on it). Pilled a lot of money into it trying to work out what's wrong and finally phoned tcfc and said I simply cannot afford to keep trying to fix it (£1000 at that point) what's my rights. Just to be told unless the issue was there beforehand they're not interested. I'd have to pay remaining finance and whatever it costs for them to get it running again! Well if I could afford that I'd fix the bloody thing myself.

So now stuck in a situation where we owe money out here, there and everywhere and had to put a new engine in it. Now the best bit.. mechanic says everything is working but no power going to the ignition... yep itll be the box. Phone them up and all goes great someone will call the mechanic that day, which they did and arranged to go out yesterday. But guess who never turned up! They had send an email back to tcfc saying they will have to re arrange after realising it was a bank holiday... but failed to let my mechanic know! This morning I'm told
Oh he's going this morning but I told them they'll have to ring the mechanic to make sure he's available (small family run company). No problem they say fitter will call the mechanic then yourself to let you know what's going on. I'm sat here with still
No phone call so guess I have to go spend yet more time on the phone because someone can't be bothered doing their job.

In all honesty I would avoid the company if you can.

Purely love it. I have been financing a car with one of the dealers they are working with, called Mondial cars which is based in Northwood. Since I walked in the staff was really professional and friendly. All the paperwork was done very fast and hassle free. In two hours I was driving the car away . I will definitely recommend it to anyone. Five star .

3 more payments to make then i am done with these & i am happy to say i will not be getting another car from them or finance from anywhere else for that matter, they havent been bad to me, but i think if people have bad credit, then chargeing them more because of it is unfair, its just taking advantage of people that need a car because they know we wont be able to get one elsewhere, £3000 interest i have had to pay on top of the £5000 my car was up for sale for at the time & now its worth just over £3000, talk about throwing money away, if i had have saved for 3 years instead of giving this company my money, then i could have bought the car i actually wanted & saved myself some money, you cant do that with these as the car as to be over a certain age & under a certain milage, because of the above mentioned, then i have to give 2 stars for taking advantage.

When I purchased my car from TCFC almost 2years ago I can't do nothing but praise this company. My financial past was terrible but they could see past that and essentially throw my a lifeline they wasn't judgemental or anything just honest people that wanted to help (and make a few quid commission but hey that's the job!) I went to view the car I wanted at the Nottingham branch on the Sunday. Collected and drove away on the Monday. And up to now. (Touch wood) with correct maintenance and plenty of TLC my car has never let me down yet. Always nice to get the newsletter and occasionally love2shop voucher from the company too. I for one will be renewing my agreement with them and getting my next car via TCFC. From reading the bad reviews I can only assume the unlucky few have used TCFC to finance the car and sorced a vehicle from elsewhere. However I went to "the car finance company dealership" in Nottingham. And the service was faultless.

well where do I start with these lot. I bought my 13 plate corsa from another set of cowboys ( see bbc watchdog) and my finance with these so this company accredit the garage as a trustworthy reliable place to buy your cars well I just wish id have read the comments on all forums before buying. ive had it 9 weeks for the head gasket and long list of other things amounting the hefty some of 1000 pound having no look with cowboys fowlers of which I would avoid like the plague ive tried to contact these numerous occasions getting passed from pillar to post nobody wants to know I have 6 months warranty ont his car apparently and im sure they are trying to pass the book till the six month as passed . I ve had to stop paying finance on this car as it is not getting any more of money no way. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY and as for the little comment your going to put underneath saying contact this and that ive tried that a million and one times

Fast finance. But car was rushed by mot from concept cars in bolton. They missed a cracked window screen and steering problem. The car electronic checking system said oil was fine until the turbo went bang do to oil problem within 12 months. New turbo cost over £1000.00 without being fitted! £300 to fit. Lower suspension arm bust in 7 months and cost £270.00 which also cost for two new tyres at £155.00. I have asked them to end the agreement and said i will have to pay for the damage. Turbo etc. Even though a specialist turbo garage has advised the tubro sould have not failed within 12 months. Also the customer serivces rep was rude when i told him once paper work is signed to end agreement the car finance company will have 7 days to remove the un drivable car from family members drive or they will charge the company for storage at £150.00 for failing to collect and £50.00 extra per day if the car if lefted on their private property longer then 7days once notice has been sent with cancellation letter. Make sure the dealership you get your car from has done extra checks on any car you get financed from this company. Because if all fails and you cant afford the repairs due to being sold a time bomb, they will try and force you to pay the repairs( make good ) then will send the car on the another mug and do the same. Shame on you the car finance company. See you in court!!!

I went via reccommendation of a friend to obtain finance and then realised The Car Finance Company could source me a vehicle too. Result! It can be quite harrowing purchasing a car and sorting finance and insurance and all the necessaties to get yourself and vehicle legally and safely on the road. The service was pleasurable, smooth, communication at every level. Even after service. It has all been perfect. Thank you. I am so pleased with my car and got an amazing little beauty and a great finance deal.🚗🚗✔✔.
