"Terrible experience from beginning to end"

I was sold a car which was completely mis-sold and had no MOT and required £2000 of repairs within a week of getting it. Neither the garage (The Car World, Warrington), or the The Car Finance Company wanted to know.

So I've struggled on with it for 2 years and now the car is really falling apart so I got finance on a new car. However now The Car Finance Company won't give me a settlement statement which includes my vehicles particulars and my address. The most they have sent me is a one line email with the amount, which just isn't sufficient to be accepted by the new finance company.

So I'm basically in a situation at the moment where I can't buy a new car because The Car Finance Company are withholding my Settlement Statement and also have my vehicle registration details wrong on their system so the details won't match up with the car I'm part exchanging to get a reliable car.

It's a horrible and stressful situation and The Car Finance Company should be ashamed of themselves. I have no choice but to pursue the matter through the courts, but I'd strongly warn anyone from taking any kind of contract with this company.

Really good first experience getting my car on finance. I remember going to carcraft years ago and should have gone equipped with sleeping bag and a packed lunch! I applied online for finance and drove to Manchester that afternoon. Was a bit of a nightmare as I had a few name changes and my paperwork I brought was all over the place. My sales rep sorted it out. There was a bit of waiting around but to be fair on him it wasn't his fault due to my papers. If I had been more prepared then it would have been quicker. All staff were friendly, polite and efficient. The play area in the waiting room was well equipped. .. Although they defo need to sort the vending machines pinching your pennies and not delivering the goods!! All in all good experience and drove home in my new car a few hours later. Only negative was felt rushed when looking at cars on display.

They only charge a bit high for montlhy payments but I can't complain at least I got approved and I got the car
