I have had consistently great pieces of jewelry. I have not ordered anything really expensive, but even the one error that was made, they fixed without too much trouble. I love it!

"Took too long!"

So you advertise a sale price 2 weeks before Christmas and I purchased a ring for my husband. A week later I get an email stating this ring takes 2-3 weeks to ship. What?! You couldn't mention that at checkout? So it's not the end of the world cuz his bday is Jan 14th. I replied stating I need it by then n was told no problem it's more than 3 was away. I was told I would be sent a firmer ETA once it ships but that never happened. Later I have to go back online n request the tracking number to look it up myself and can you believe it was est to arrive on Jan 12th, the day before his bday? So it was a Friday n we had to delay our departure out of town while we wait for USPS to deliver the ring.
So are you selling rings you have to buy from an outside supplier? I was told ordering in store would be the same. Did I mention the ring was ok? I mean just ok, not like other nice jewelry I have bought from Samuels before. Disappointed.

"A little long to ship to store but excellent customer service!"

I ordered a chain and a pendant and set it to ship to the store nearest to me. It took about a week and a half to arrive at the store. I picked up the items just fine the clerks were friendly. I realized when i got home that the chain was shorter that what i had expected so i called customer service and explained the situation and by the next day i was emailed a shipping label. I went back online to buy a longer chain and i accidentally ordered the wrong metal type. I called customer service again but they were closed as it was later in the day. So i emailed them instead and they promptly responded canceling my order. I am very pleased with the customer service at Samuels Jewelers! They made my experience as hassle-free as possible. I would definitely recommend them.

"A simple repair"

Took my expensive diamond ring in for sizing from a 7.5 to a 10 and instead of making it the size i needed they made it one size smaller. I had paid $177 upfront and they would not refund. Instead the samuels employee told me that they couldnt refund and that was because I had received work on the ring....???? I told her incorrect work and not what I contracted. All of the information on my invoice indicated a size 10 not a 9. She acted as if I was somehow benefiting from a ring service that resulted in the item not fitting. I took my ring back under protest and will seek out a master jeweler to fix their error. They do not do the sizing in house at Samuels and send the item out. How does a company have no quality control?

"BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE ALL AROUND"

It was almost impossible to connect with any representative by phone for days! I called every single number that I found online, corporate numbers, and web-sales. I was put on hold and waited many minutes (sometimes half an hour) to get through and left many voicemails. It was also impossible to get through to the store where I was supposed to pick up my items. I finally gave up and decided to return my items before I even got a chance to see them (after going twice to the store which was closed during normal business hours). At least the interim supervisor at the store, Bailey, once I finally got a hold of someone, was kind; but this did not solve the issue with the bad customer service web-sales.
