"Impossible to speak to re-admissions team...."
I have been trying to speak to someone, anyone, about restarting an LPC / LLM course. Switchboard have put me through to a number (which they will not reveal) on 4 occasions. On each occasion I am told that my call is important to the university, and after about 12 minutes on hold the call is cut off, apparently due to technical difficulties. Each time I called the switchboard and explained this I was told that this was likely due to a high volume of calls however the call management system told me that, on each call, there was one person ahead of me.
On my last call I was put through to student information for the Morgate campus in the hope that they might answer . Yet again no answer, so I left a message. Amazingly, one of the team called me back within 10 minutes. He can't fix the problem but he has told us who should be able to help. Let's see if they can..... Given the challenge it has been just to speak to someone, let alone the right person, I'm not confident we will get anywhere.
University of Law - please get your call management system sorted out. You are treating your clients and potential clients appallingly.
Update: 3 Oct 2023. Most companies check out trust pilot and respond to complaints. Nothing from the University of Law.... Perhaps they don't care.

"Impossible to contact a human at University of Law, Bristol Campus."
Having spent hours per day over the past ten days, on hold, listening to how important my call is to the Uni of Law 🤣🤣🤣 and having now sent two emails directly to the Dean of Law ( with no response or acknowledgement), I am unable to contact anyone on the Bristol Campus to help with my query. Poor show University of Law, even the world’s best Universities with tens of thousands of full time students are more responsive and much easier to contact. Your call centre is friendly but your agents are unable to assist me and have no idea who or what the Dean of law is, very odd??? The numbers 0800 289997 or 014 832 16220 just ring and ring, and over the past ten days have never once been answered???

Do not go here.
I did my LPC here and received the worse support. For one, most calls are outsourced to India so you never actually speak to anyone at the uni or anyone who has any clue what's going on.
Secondly, the teaching is lazy as materials and exams, yes exams, were re-used from previous years.
Don't waste your money here as thats all they care about and go to a different uni for post-grad.

"Diabolical University"
Diabolical University. Each and every advisor no matter what department is completely incompetent. My entire course was delayed and pushed back by 4 months due to being given the wrong exam date by the assessments team and then told there's nothing they can do and I have to wait till the next term to sit it. I have also been waiting for a refund for around 6weeks. Each week I call I am told I will receive the refund by 7 days, I have been told this 6 times!!!! Absolute shambles of a University. Do not waste your time applying for this University there are much better options that are being run much more efficiently. I cannot tell you how much stress and anger they have caused me. I had a job offer riding on me completing my course in September /October but to be delayed because of the university, I lost my job offer! Absolutely disgusting

"Shocking Communication"
ULAW emailed and Cancelled my LLM SQE 1&2 Course for the Leeds campus with 2 weeks prior to the course starting in June
I had to pay a ÂŁ250 deposit to accpept my place and when the course cancelled for low numbers in i applied for the same course at the Manchester campus for January.
To accpet the offer i was told to pay ANOTHER ÂŁ250, given that my first ÂŁ250 was never refunded DESPITE ULAW cancelling the course and not myself. (Something the phone staff struggle to understand as they are all under the impression that I HAD cancelled) this just shows that they are are not reading into the files, notes and or emails properly).
I refused to pay this ÂŁ250 again until i had received my initial refund I have phoned and emailed several times and Im given the same line of "i will email finance" or "email this team" "i will speak to this team" well its been 3 months and i have not received a SINGLE response back which is shocking.
IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT STUDYING HERE, THINK AGAIN. Another review said "Im not sure how this university is even running with such communication flaws, very unprofessional and uncaring I now understand why it’s so easy to get a place with them. They accept anyone and all they care about is taking your money." This statement could not be more true.
STOP WASTING YOUR TIME BY APPLYING HERE, JUST APPLY TO A PUBLIC UNIVERSITY WHERE PEOPLE CARE AND THE STAFF ARE SUPPORTIVE.
I am so glad i decided to not study here, perhaps the cancellation of the course intially was dodging a bullet? read the other reviews from students this instituon sounds like hell

Never issue CAS to you, they use your money and at the end say to you that You are not meet the University requirements.

If I could give this university 0 stars I absolutely would, even negative 5 stars would be too kind. The administration and communication is awful, and so is the teaching. You pay an astronomical amount of money just to be told to read textbooks. If I could have bought the textbooks without signing up to the university, that would have been a much better option. I tried to get help on an assignment (as you would normally assume you could) and was told it was in 'exam conditions' so the tutor couldn't even so much as look at it. If that's the case, just make it an exam and save us all the hope that you can help us. You would also be much better going to a public university where you don't have to pay for exam resits, especially when the tutors refuse to help you even pass the first sit of exams. I had such a bad experience at this university, and it has given me severe anxiety and panic attacks which I have never had before joining it, and when I have told tutors about my panic attacks there has been no empathy or support from them whatsoever, not that I would expect everyone to give that empathy, but when the tutors just focus on themselves when you talk about it, you don't get a good feeling. I have ended up withdrawing from this university because I just think it is such a poor institution, and will not be receiving even a quarter of what I paid in a refund due to the messed up way this university is, despite only having got through 6 months of a 2-year course. It seems that all ULaw care about is taking your money and anyone who struggles on this course is not worth their time, they will only help those who are doing well. If there were any good things I could say about this university, it has been completely clouded by how bad my experience has been and I would not even wish the experience of this university on my enemies (figure of speech). I got so much more out of a course that was cheaper and from a public university previous to this one.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE GOES TO THIS UNIVERSITY AT ALL, GO TO A PUBLIC UNIVERITY WHERE YOU ARE SURE TO GET MUCH MORE SUPPORT AND PAY LESS MONEY TO DO IT IN THE FIRST PLACE.

I will never recommend this university to anyone. All they’re interested in is money not education. I wish I had read reviews before starting. The way exams are conducted are so poor and customer service is a nightmare. You get no support whatsoever. AVOID this university at all cost but go at your own peril.

"Current Student - Disgruntled"
Currently studying the LPC (MA) online course with ULaw and I am unbelievably dissatisfied with every single element following confirming my enrolment.
The people you speak to prior to enrolment are fluent in English, and from the point of enrolling with them, the people after this are certainly not.
You will spend far too much time trying to explain simple queries, simply due to the difficulties of interpreting the language differentiation.
I emailed them as one of my exams was not showing in my calendar - it took them 4 weeks to get back to me, only to tell me my exam was two weeks prior to their email, stating “as per your calendar” despite me telling them it was not showing - trying to shake off any responsibility.
These issues are separate from the plethora IT issues you will experience.
Diabolical service and devastating experience.
If you are comparing universities, look elsewhere. I know my experience is not isolated as I have heard many horror stories. I have even tried complaining to ULaw directly, but have never heard anything back - clearly they could not careless.
It’s really not surprising that this profile on this impartial review site has not been claimed by ULaw - they want to rely on the heavily biased sponsored feedback elsewhere. The reviews on here for BPP and similar Universities, of which have been claimed by the respective establishments, speak volumes.
I’ve ticked the box at the bottom of this review, for my feedback to be sent to ULaw - I’m not holding my breath for anyone to contact me. Shame on you, ULaw! You need to do better.

"Poor customer service"
Poor customer service. They don't answer the phones and don't return your calls. They have said to me twice a course tutor will call me back and they don't. They struggle to understand what you are asking, and don't seem to listen- you have to repeat yourself quite a bit.
Based on all the other feedback messages below stay well clear of this university.
