"After two years of terrible customer…"
After two years of terrible customer service from another provider with no UK based customer service, I eventually after several weeks of research into the limited number of providers that actually have humans based in the UK, rather than chat bots or email that takes weeks to be answered.
They answered all of the questions I had, did not bombard me with twice daily sales calls and emails as I had with one of the options I was considering.
So far the process cannot be faulted, they are not the cheapest on offer but on a par with my old provider, however I was up and running in no time, with clear easy to follow self service instructions for my old equipment, and the porting of my phone numbers will be complete in two weeks (much less than the 30 days quoted).
The call quality is very clear and the web portal manager, far cleaner and easier to use than Vonage.
So far I am very glad I made the move and with Landline telephones finally being retired later this year Small Business owners everywhere in the UK will need to choose a new provider.
I would have no qualms in recommending Voipfone as a reasonably priced alternative, I know we are all supposed to be welcoming AI services with open arms, but at times only a human will do!

Very good value for money
after moving from a truly horrific previous telecoms supplier (which consisted of a mis sold and overpriced 7 year contract) voipfone is simply amazing - no contract, very very easy DIY setup and phone support to guide you through the entire setup process, easy to see how it scales to whatever you need, everything is customizable, you only pay for what you need etc etc.
There is a reason why they're the no1 recommended on the UK business forums, I can't imagen there is a better value supplier out there

"Fantastic service via emails"
Fantastic service with really quick responses to emails even over a weekend. Replies were real, not a canned pre-written response.
Overall I've been hugely impressed by this service which avoided losing my long held landline number and I'm not longer at the mercy of broadband providers.
I used a grandstream ht812 , not the model that voipfone provide instruction for but it wasn't too hard to figure out what goes where. Top tip: account number should include the extension too. A few non-connects until I figured that out.
This tech is fabulous for those with a technical mindset. It's not for you gran yet.

"Terrible refund policy lol"
I contacted them about my issue regarding my new job which needs a phone, the chat support asked me to go for SNOM phone and says it will work with my 3 5g hub. I purchased and upon testing the phone did not work. They tried to troubleshoot with me for 1 hr over the chat to no avail then I got fed up and returned for a refund. Tell me why this company decided to refund only 85% of my money just because I had opened the box and says they can’t sell as new anymore. Was I supposed to use the phone in the box without unpacking it? Too bad PS- I sent all components back to them but insisted on holding back part of my money.
