"Viel Spaß seit drei Wochen"

Ich habe das Basalt jetzt drei Wochen und schon 900 km gefahren trotz manchmal eisiger Kälte .Es macht wirklich Spaß auch auf längeren Touren .Selbst in niedrigster Stufe schiebt es noch genügend an .
Habe den Kaufe noch keinen Tag bereut.

"Richtig gute Qualität zum kleinen Preis"

Ich habe mir als Nachfolger für meinen Cannondale Tesoro nun von Mokwheel das Basalt gekauft. Optisch hat es mich einfach gereizt. Und so ein Fatbike ist halt auch schon recht beeindruckend.

Und da nun das Mokwheel Basalt gerade im Angebot war habe ich zugeschlagen. Für 1.799,00 Euro war ich anfangs zwar etwas skeptisch, allerdings hat sich die Skepsis mit der ersten Fahrt in Luft aufgelöst.

Das Basalt habe ich Samstag Nacht bestellt. Am Montag Mittag wurde das Basalt dann bereits geliefert! So schnell habe ich tatsächlich nicht damit gerechnet!

Es wurde teilmontiert in einem riesen Karton sehr gut gesichert verpackt geliefert. Man muss lediglich noch das Vorderrad, den Lenker, die Schutzbleche und die Pedale montieren. Ich bin jetzt kein Ingenieur, aber bei mir hat die Montage jetzt etwa 1 Stunde gedauert. Akku aufgeladen und am nächsten Tag die Testfahrt über 25 KM gemacht.

Das Basalt ist beeindruckend groß, sackschwer mit knapp 37 Kilo fährt sich aber quasi wie eine Elfe. Es beschleunigt sehr gut und unterstützt beim fahren. Ich merke hier zu meinem Vorgänger-Cannondale so gut wie keinen Unterschied. In der Qualität kann das Mokwheel auf alle Fälle mithalten! Und preislich brauchen wir gar nicht drüber reden. Da dürfte Mokwheel relativ konkurrenzlos sein!

Ich kann das Mokwheel Basalt nur sehr empfehlen. Für meine Frau werden wir demnächst auch ein Mokwheel-Rad bestellen.

"The Basalt has been great"

The Basalt has been great. I've made multiple 20 mile rides without changing batteries which to me is unbelievable for a bike this powerful. I'm also no small guy (6'2" 230lbs). One thing I could say needs to be improved on is the assembly instructions. I didn't really have any major issues but I did have to reassemble a few things and I could see someone who isn't mechanically inclined struggling with them.

"Obsidian and Basalt 2.0"

My wife and I bought 2 bikes for Christmas. I bought and Obsidian for my self and she bought a Basalt 2.0 step through. We also got a free hitch mount bike rack and 2 accessory packs. Since it has been really cold we haven't got to go on a big ride.

The ordering process was easy, the bikes came quickly and packed well. Assembly was pretty simple. The accessory packs had plenty of stuff for the bikes.

Overall it was a great experience.

Overall, the MokWheel Obsidian is a solid ebike with a great build quality. I was able to purchase this bike on sale for $2,199, which I believe is a great price.

The bike arrived well-packed and there was no damage during transit. Assembly was also pretty straightforward. If you can assemble a regular bike, then you should have no problem assembling this one.

Out on the road, the Obsidian feels sturdy, stable, and well-balanced. It gives you a feeling of confidence, whether you're cruising at low speeds or hitting the top speed on the throttle.

The only thing I would change about the bike is the lack of an integrated tail light. Instead, there is an LED brake light that must be charged. It would be nice to have a brake light with turning signals integrated.

Despite this one minor issue, I am very happy with the MokWheel Obsidian. It is a great bike for commuting or leisure riding.
