Overall they made it a simple and straightforward process throughout. From pickup and collection through to the estimate and repair, I was kept informed. The timescale from them receiving the camera to returning the camera serviced and repaired was approximately 3 1/2 weeks. The cost was reasonable given the fact that it would have cost me about £500-£700 to buy another secondhand XPro2, with the repair costing just under £250. I made one phone call enquiry to their service reception which was handled professionally, confidently and quickly. All in all a good experience and a service that I’d definitely use again.

Lens repaired ok, but it took longer than I expected. (I chased 10 days after they received my lens to ask when I would get an estimate or other info and had a response next day, but it still took a further 4 weeks until I received the repaired lens.) Cost was as per estimate, but this was about £100 higher than the indicative range of repair costs for this model of lens shown on their website.

Tamron lens was damaged thanks to DHL dropping the package onto a concrete floor. Sent it to Fixation for repair.From the time l sent it to receiving it back was 2 weeks. Brilliant turnaround. Lens is back to mint condition. Highly recommend.

They were easy to get in contact with. Once they had received the camera, they sent notification that it was with a technician. Once it had been examined I received an email giving an estimate, with all the details of work to be carried out. Easy to ring and authorise the repairs. You can easily look up on line how the repairs were progressing. I then received another email confirming the repairs had been completed and the final costs. You are able to give payment details over the phone, or they can send you a payment link. They arranged for DPD to deliver the repaired goods, Which worked well.
There was only one very slight blip, when I booked for the courier to collect the camera, it didn't happen, think there may have been a blip with that message going through the system. I delivered it personally, blip happen It is much easier having a courier.
I would certainly recommend using this company.
You can actually speak to a person, which in my book is 10/10.
