I am happy that the lens repair seems to have been carried out well, but the proof of the pudding will be a trip out in a few days time.
My repair was far more expensive than the examples on the web site, but I had dropped the lens really badly to the point where you could hear things rolling around inside. Repair was still far cheaper than a new lens.
You do have an option to cancel the repair and return the lens if it's too expensive. The price I was charged was marginally less than the quote which is fine.
The only dropped star was that the delay was almost 2 months when the web site is saying less than that on average. It has to be said though that that period included Christmas and a wait for parts.
Communication with the company is good through their repairs web site, and when I mailed once I had an answer the same day.
If I could make one suggestion. When the repair is waiting the next stage (eg waiting for repair, waiting for parts) it would be great if your website could add an ETA to the status to set expectations.

Nothing to dislike - after all the final bill came in at £30 less than the estimate, and the time taken was more or less as expected.

I liked the service overall because the process was simple and felt reliable. My repair was completed successfully. The wait was longer than I'd like but the estimated time frame is 10-15 working days. I have a complaint about the added cost though as the original quote was for the wrong part. I ended up paying quite a bit more than the quote I agreed to which was very disappointing obviously.
