"Filter stuck on lens"
My local camera shop suggested I go to Fixation to fix my lens that had a filter stuck pretty badly. I had tired wrenches and clamps and all sorts and it just wasn't coming off, I really didn't want to damage the lens as it was new and £800. I popped in, it was £12 and done in 30 minutes! Couldn't believe it. Will be recommending and keeping them in mind for the future.

I have no idea if places similar to Fixation exist, as I never felt the urge to look for them.
From the quality of the service provided to the knowledge, competence and friendliness of the staff, I couldn't recommend Fixation more.

Since my last experience with Fixation just after lockdown, I am please to say that their customer service has returned to its pre-lockdown high standard. The entire process was well communicated, efficient and straightforward. Was it expensive, possibly, but compared to the cost of a new camera it was definitely worthwhile. Entire repair, from estimate to return took around two weeks .

Excellent service, all arranged via the Fixation website then email. Just boxed my lens up and took it to my local post office where Fixation had it collected, few days later I received my fixed price quote, paid, then not long after I received my lens back, so so easy!

The communicatiom via the portal was not great and had to chase a couple of times to get an update as the portal did not update you about the status confirming when the part was being delivered when they had started working on the camera, the price seemed high for the labour no explantion why so high.
