"Worst experience "
Worst experience. Bought carpet from great western road branch on 2nd of July 2024, installation date was 3rd of july 2024. Dealt by Donald and paid in full for the carpet installation.
Next day the carpet installers came and didn't finish their job properly. Vinyl carpet installed in the kitchen but they left small part under the worktop in the kitchen where vinyl was supposed to be installed and which I requested already when I was at the shop. The vinyl installer who said is not even bothered to install that small space. I contacted carpetright straight away to let them know what vinyl installer was saying but the line was busy each time I contacted them. Carpet installer installed carpet in other rooms but didn't installed carpet in the 2 cupboards area in the hallway.
The carpet installer said that there was enough carpet left to install carpet in the 2 wardrobes and in the 2 cupboards in the hallway.
Same thing was advised by the surveyor David when he came for the room measurements.
Unfortunately, I had another appointment which cannot be cancelled due to some reasons that day (3rd of July) so have to leave early before they can finish installing.
Installers didn't even bother to inform me that installation is complete. Installer had my phone number and they sent me a text message in the morning to update me when they would arrive at the property to install the carpet.
Came back home after my appointment to check. One of the worst experience. Since then I am back and forth with carpetright in person and over phone more than 5 times. No response. Spoke to Alan last week who's is the manager of that branch I believe who said someone will be in touch with me. Stephen who took my complaint but no response from anyone of them. Still waiting. I thought I would leave good review when everything is sorted but the length of time they are taking and absolutely no responsibility whatsoever has made me to give them 1 star. I would give less than 1 star if it was at all possible. Avoid at all costs.

"Sickening behaviour"
Absolutely astounded that a company could be allowed to behave in such a fashion. I placed an order on the 26th June, paying £884 for new upstairs carpets. The fitting was due to be taking place next week, only to find out from calling Tapi today, that this will now not be taking place and that Carpetright will not be returning my money.
At best this is theft, and at worst it is fraud! This conduct is outrageous and whilst I deeply sympathise with those Carpetright employees who have been made redundant, those at the top should hang their heads in collective shame. They knew the dire situation of the company, and yet they still took money from customers, lying that they would honour the orders placed - despicable

"Carpetright is the Best!"
I am very blessed and pleased to be a customer of the Carpetright Hazel Grove branch. Michelle and Coley are incredibly knowledgeable, professional and caring to accommodate my urgent request. Everything from choosing the carpet, underlay and accessories, taking on-site measurements, ordering to fitting took just one week. It couldn’t be a seamless process without the help of Coley and Michelle. I am very sad to see this branch closed and worry about the staff. My heart is with them in this difficult times and wishing everyone all the best.

"Stolen my money"
Took my order for new vinyl, my items have arrived but they won't give them to me as they've gone into administration. They also won't refund my money.

Paid for laminate flooring to be delivered, two days later Company in administration and order will not be fulfilled.
Now have the inconvenience of trying to get refunded via my Credit Card Company
