First I was given the wrong information about prices and what was available in store. This was then corrected by Aaron in southampton, Nursling who listened, corrected and gave me a good deal. He has behaved in a professional and helpful manner throughout and I am sorry his store is on the list of those to be closed.
Second, when I was ready to proceed with payment, a member of staff took payment without checking the product was in stock. After the payment was taken, again, Aaron sorted it out.
Thirdly, the carpet fitter damaged my flat by jamming the wrong key in the lock and breaking off the metal key. Then denied it. Shockingly unprofessional behaviour

We ordered a new laminate floor in may wanted it fitting within 3 weeks or earlier depending on the arrival of our new suite .
The beading didn't come we are neatly the end of July and we are still waiting.I rang them today 24th July as I was informed last week that the beading was due in Monday 22 Nd and would be fitted Thurs 25th and have heard nothing in whether it is being fitted tomorrow.The message that I left required a return call from them on their system .no call back from them .carpet right Warrington.

They took a £2500 payment knowing full well that I would never get a refund or goods. Someone needs to be held accountable for this thievery. Doubt they will however. Sorry to everyone who has lost their money, you aren't alone

Still awaiting clear response from Carpetright with regards the agreed replacement then decided NO after agreeing verbally and by email also had 2 quotes and the estimator round.
The worst service ever and the customer services department is very poor .
Now gone into administration so not sure what will happen.
Very very bad service never buy from then again or recommend

Ordered carpet and hard floor. Given date for carpet fitting which was honoured without any issues.
At the time of ordering I was told the hard floor fitter would be in contact over the next 5 days to arrange a date for fitting. After waiting a week with no phone call I rang the store to chase this up and was told there were some issues with the fitter but that they would chase it up with him. Another 2 weeks went past still no phone call and another call to the store. In this time the carpet had been fitted and still no date for hard flooring. Rang the store a 3rd time and told them I had enough of waiting and wanted to cancel the hard flooring. Funny that they then told me they could send a hard floor fitter round by the end of the week, I went ahead with the refund as I no longer wanted anything to do with this company. They also told me on my first phone call that they only had one fitter that could do the job and that I had to wait for them to contact me this suddenly changed at the end when I told them I wanted to cancel my order. As a result of this
experience I would never use this company again.

What didn't go wrong.
The first thing was my quote at the shop was different to the quote the surveyor had when he came to my house. Mine was for a lesser amount. The surveyor then stated that it would cost another £700 pound for another box of laminate, a door tread and added an entrance less than 2ft long as a third room. As I funnily enough did not agree with this new quote he said he would speak to the shop. They then reduced the amount a little and the fitters fee a little. I booked the fitter with the shop 6 weeks in advance as I was getting furniture delivered and wanted to ensure the floor was fitted before then. Day of fitting came and no one arrived. I rang the shop and they said they had not booked the fitter. I told them about the furniture and I had no where to store it if the floor was not down. They came back and said fitter could do one room that afternoon then come back the next day. That was not convenient as I was working. I had to rearrange the other areas for 4 working days later. When the fitting was finally finished the house was a mess. I was then further embarrassed with the fitter as he had not been told of the reduced fee. All the cutting of the laminate was done indoors and the amount of dust everywhere was unbelievable. I wrote a complaint to the customer service address and was informed that they do not issue compensation and it was up to each store to decide if this was relevant. I did get a minimal amount of compensation as it had caused quite a lot of inconvenience. I can understand why the company is closing stores as they really do not seem to care about their customers. I feel that a lot of people would not question the increase in the cost and they get a lot of extra money that way.
