"Products Damaged & Customer Service Nightmare"
I purchased five frosted glass white boards and three of them came defective and another was a slightly different color than the others. Customer service was a nightmare—each response was generic and from one of eight different representatives and every representative said they couldn’t refund because the courier couldn’t be charged for damage after five days (even though products were clearly defective from the factory and the courier shouldn’t be charged).
Order from somewhere more expensive; it’s not worth any discount. I wasted a ton of time trying to resolve this with their customer service. In the end they sent two replacement boards but it took me months and MANY emails.
I tried leaving a review on their website that included pictures, but the site didn't allow me to submit it on the two web browsers I tried. Very shady company.

"Really poor website and customer service. Disreputable."
Very disappointed! I am looking for some refrigerators and came across this vendor. I should have read reviews before ordering but you know when you see a good deal you want to jump. I ordered two convertible refrigerator/freezers at an excellent deal, I mean really excellent, too good to be true as it turns out. So I got the order confirmation, and then shortly after, I get a "sorry to inform you..." message about a "glitch" in the system that has resulted in the order being cancelled. They may have figured out the price point they sold the units because in checking the website today 3/2/2023, one of the units is almost 2 times more than I paid for both units. I spoke to customer service in an effort to re-order the items at the same price but "price is subject to change". So I still have a pending payment to the vendor in the bank and no chance of getting the product I ordered. They said that they will not charge me until the product ships, so I will have to wait to see if I need to file a dispute.
UPDATE 3/19/2023.
This update does not change my review, but adds to the problem. After 2 weeks of trying to resolve the issue speaking to multiple people, the issue was finally put to rest. We spoke to company representatives who said they would call us back, but never did. We "just missed" the employee who actually gave their name, several times stretching the process out longer. Finally, they offered a price that was still way beyond what the initial price we bought the products for. Their excuse was that it was an "error" except that the price I purchased the product for was on the website for several days and was only an "error" once we bought the product. This company was not willing to accept their mistake, because, "We need to make money". Understandable, but again, as with other reviews from other customers, they lost this customer for life. I don't care if they are advertising something the cheapest price, I will not buy from Global Industrial again. They'd likely have another "glitch" if the price was a good one anyway. Horrible experience. Stay away from this company.

I am still awaiting an order made on January 11th 2023.
At first there was a delay and the shipment was supposed to arrive on February 23rd. Now the new estimate says April 11th. Chat is limited to certain hours, but you don’t learn that till you actually start chatting. Email option doesn’t give you confirmation your inquiry went through. The only thing that happens quickly is charging your credit card. And nothing happens. STAY AWAY, these shady business is most likely engaging in some criminal activities.

I had really good services and availability with many orders that I placed with Global Industrial, I always deal with John Michalopoulos, great person to deal with, answer very quickly on emails, I had a problem with an industrial vacuum and he really took care of it at my satisfaction.
I would recommend anyone to deal with Global Industrial especially with the service I get from John.

"The product was spot on BUT the service…"
The product was spot on BUT the service needs help doing the math. In October I ordered heavy duty plastic chain for our town’s cemetery and it was exceptional. Love it. Looks great. Met our expectations. However, I was supposed to receive a 10% discount as a new customer on the order. I have been doing battle for 1-1/2 months trying to get a $26.10 credit and they keep telling me I have already received it, which I have not. They have shown me 3 different statements with 3 different amounts, none of which is the correct amount. If and when you order anything, get it approved first before you pay or you may never see it again.

Carolyn is my contact at Global Industrial. I find the staff at Global courteous and efficient. Global has many items that are usually reasonably priced. The challenge with ordering from them is the lead time and/or shipping costs. Once you add these in they become less competitive.

I’ve seen some pretty negative reviews here and I’m sure it’s not unwarranted however my experience was nothing but positive. I ordered a replacement part for my Jet bandsaw and was hesitant at first from all the negative reviews. So I called Jet and when talking to Jet customer support they informed me that global stocks many of their replacement parts so I went ahead and ordered through them. Received the part well packaged just a few days. Fair price and many small items ship free (not something other part suppliers do, in fact, one supplier was charging $99 shipping for a $54 part, absurd!) Great seller in my opinion

"Terrible customer service"
Terrible customer service. We received a damaged commercial sized fridge from global and we were told global would pick it up for no charge. They never showed. I tried calling and they never got back to me. So, I had to email them and it was an entire month that I was going back and forth with customer service via email having to repeat myself with the order number, why I was emailing, etc, because it was a new person every time. Today, I was informed that the claim had been closed and I could dispose of the fridge myself. LOL, where am I supposed to dispose of a damaged commercial sized fridge?

"Order unilaterally cancelled by Global while providing us a delivery date at the same time."
June 01, 2022, ordered a Warn PullzAll Winch. The sales ad said "Units available. Order NOW!!!! A week later, advised by email that the order is out of stock and an estimated delivery date is sometime in October 2022. Might that be a classic Bait and Switch? We were not in a critical rush, and could have driven 30 miles to Northern Tool and driven home with the unit, however we wanted to be patient with Global while knowing that the commercial retail sector has issues with product and staffing. A day later, received another email that said a new date for delivery is now another date in October 2022. Which was OK with us.
It is now nearly September 2022, and we inquired to confirm the delivery status via telephone call to Global, and spoke to Carolyn (I had problems understanding her however I hope that was her name.) She said the order was canceled on June 9, 2022 and we should not be upset because we were notified. I pulled up both emails from Global while she was on the line with me and their first email said delivery delayed until October and second said an updated delivery date is a date in October 2022. NOTHING ABOUT THE ORDER BEING CANCELED. Carolyn said that I 'should have clicked on the order status when I received the email and I would have clearly seen that the order was canceled'. I just got the order status in that email and intuitively did NOT search the finer print for a link to an 'order status' page.....I already had it!!!. The worst part is that Carolyn the script reader told me that any time she gets and order update, she would have known to click the order status. I wasted effort discussing the word 'intuitive' and the fact that the status was already provided without having to search out a link for a status. But she was right and I was wrong according to their policy.
Prior to Carolyn answering my call, a recording said I could hang on and take the customer satisfaction survey. Surprise...I again waited and waited and the phone simply and automatically hung up.
I was far from 'Karen / Kevin-like' and attempted to explain my position, however she was unable to veer from her script, except to offer her personal purchasing habits and how she definitely would have searched-out and clicked on the order status (even though the status is clearly provided within the body of the email).
Northern Tool......here I come, albeit 3.5 months delayed.
I don't expect I will do business with Global. Now that I searched out this complaint avenue, I see the overall ratings are far from stellar. Should have done my homework
