Mr Clutch

"My sons van a bridge too far for me"
As a qualified mechanical engineer with almost 60 years experience I must say I was highly impressed with Mr Clutch Malalago Rd in particular their manager Stuart. I am still servicing and repairing numerous vehicles for my 3 sons and their families however a Primastar van was beyond my facilities needing a 2 post commercial lift. As usual there were a couple of seals that needed replacing as well as the clutch which had disintegrated, these were done at cost without additional labour cost.
When I queried something Stuart took me into the workshop to look at the old clutch and politely explained my query.
The repair was done 2 days early.
The workshop was large, clean and tidy.
STUART is an obvious asset to Mr Clutch, they are VERY LUCKY to have found him.

"Great service at Bristol Bedminster branch"
The online diagnosis proved to be spot on when I arrived and the car was checked.
The job was completed within 48 hours
The gentleman on the desk was informed, took time to explain the issue and was not patronising
Excellent service all round including wise advice about wider car issues
Thank you for your hard work. It stopped me from thinking I needed a new car when actually, this one could be fixed and had life still in it. Hooray!

"A Perfect Experience "
I've recently had a new clutch fitted with Mr Clutch in Fishponds, Bristol and it was a completly flawless experience. A competitive price, treated with respect by the staff and I was able to collect my car to suit my timetable for the day.
So grateful and I highly recommend them, thank you to everyone at Mr Clutch.

"If I could give no stars I would."
If I could give no stars I would.
Absolute rubbish company, booked a Mot on line 4 weeks ago paid for it at time of booking.
Arrived today to be told they no longer have anyone who can do mot's and I should of been told.
They wasted my time my mates time who came with me to take me home while mot being done, and no refund as yet.
I have spent two hours trying to find someone who can do the mot as runs out in couple of days. I now have to take time off work to get it done. Costing me more money, avoid at all costs

"Mr Clutch (Reading)"
Mr Clutch (Reading)
I made a mistake on my online booking and booked my MOT for Oxford branch not Reading. I didn't notice and rocked up at the Reading branch at the alloted time. They were great, I had paid online so they transferred the booking over and fitted my car in
Great service

"Great service,30 per cent cheaper than nearest competitor!"
Just had a new clutch on my elderly Aygo, this is the third one fitted by Mr Clutch Reading ,as they only make about 30.000 miles each time! I checked the other local garages and they told me it was a 6 hour job with a charge around £600.I booked it into Mr Clutch and it was finished in 4 hours at a great price of £480! Ron the manager is very accomplished and obviously runs a tight ship, frankly I won't bother to ring round other garages next time as I am confident I won't better the Reading branch on service or price...jim (o a p)caversham

"Mr Clutch- Enfield"
Used the Enfield branch for the first time today and was very pleased with the diagnosis and service. Ray was very helpful and explained the issue and work needed clearly. Would use Mr Clutch again but hopefully I won't need to.

"Avoid At All Costs"
We booked car in for clutch at the branch, told by phone they do the Mr Clutch Payment Assist (deposit + three installments). Also had £10 off voucher, which the website says present upfront.
Took car to them, told they didn't want the voucher upfront only at the end. Then told they don't do installments, when we had been told upon booking that they did. The person's colleague backed them up and said they don't do installments. Spoke to Head Office, first they said the branch DID do installments!
Then with much toing and froing, Head Office changed their mind and said work at the branch in question could be done but finance could be done over the phone and with email forms, with different branch. Phoned other branch, asked if Head Office had spoken to them, they said no. Told that finance could only be done in their branch and that Head Office had said can be done over phone. They cited GDPR and said no, in person only. Then said 'Head Office spoke to me', when they had said in previous sentence, Head Office HADN'T spoken to them!
Returned to branch that had our car, person behind the desk got keys, gave them to me without uttering one word of greeting or farewell. I said 'Thank you very much' for the keys, as I am polite and honest, unlike the bare-faced fabricating people at Mr Clutch. It's a blessing that they didn't do the work, as they're probably awful at that too. Now to find a reputable fitter. Avoid at all costs, I thought backstreet garages were meant to be bad but mainstream places like Mr Clutch are untrustworthy in the extreme.
