"Confusing user experience"

In recent years they added a new website to their infrastructure, so you will have one account in "digicert dot com", and other one in "one dot digicert dot com". You have different user accounts for each website, different OTP, different privilegies/configurations. The OTP system is broken and is not working correctly (it fails to login).

The UI is unnecessary overcomplicated. It looks like on purpose just to justify the user support.

The website would require a complete rewrite/simplification. I never thought creating a CRUD app for organizations/users/certificates would be so complex and would end up in two completely different websites.

"They ignore their customers"

Despite sending several emails to the sales team to renew our certificate, I have not received a single response. They are simply ignoring customers. Terrible experience and will do my best to stay away.

Was able to order and install my SSL certificate all in the same day to avoid my website going down. I am technical but don’t do certificate installs often. Support was quick to help me with the one problem I had due to my mismatching key.

"OTP validation does not work and can't get a rep to help"

They keep sending an OTP code to my email, but when I enter it, it comes back as incorrect. Tried calling cust service. If you're not a premium member, and don't have a pin, you have to use email or live chat. Tried live chat (nothing live there) and it just kept saying that I need to sync the time on my settings. Since this is an issue, how about fixing it on your end? Very frustrated. Spent 2 hours just trying to get into our account. I really loathe this company.

"Validation was a nightmare (but polite)"

Validation was a nightmare. They kept trying to call me from an IP phone, overseas. My cell phone company blocked them, thinking they were spam. Technical support kept sending me form letters that I had an invalid phone number. That is not true, as I receive international phone calls, regularly. Companies keep cutting costs by using low quality communications systems. It's not working and it drives people nuts. I was on the phone, on hold, for three days, for a task that should have taken a few minutes. It was finally approved. They called me from a landline and it worked...yet they keep sending me emails that they need a verification call. Really strange. I will admit that every person I spoke with was polite/likeable, but their internal systems are a mess.
