"DigiCert doesn't have 24/7 Support"
DigiCert doesn't have 24/7 Support, they double charged me $788 for an EV Code Signing certificate, the certificate failed to validate and they won't offer a refund for the legitimate order or the double charged order. Will have to contact my bank to charge back the transaction. Avoid DigiCert at all costs, this company is terrible.

"Response is subpar"
Response is subpar. I guess subscription expires in the middle of 2024, then they have nothing to worry about.

"The products are very confusing and…"
The products are very confusing and hard to use when they work at all. They are not backward compatible to much extent. Prone to failure as well. Further, technical support is very poor. The few times when I was talking to them I either had someone that I could not understand at all or the connection was broken. Not a good setup.

"I will be back for renewal"
I ordered a code signing certificate after lunch. A very polite lady called me less than an hour later to verify my company information. It took merely four hours to get my certificate, and I see they have validated it thouroughly. Also, I could generate and download using Chrome, I didn't have to resort to IE or IE compatibility mode in Edge.
Compared to my previous vendor, who failed to validate for three weeks and use all the obsolete technology, this was totally worth the cost.

"Truly terrible customer service - Avoid"
Truly terrible customer service. Having been an EV Signing certificate customer for a few years, the experience with Digicert has been terrible.
The pricing for our first 3 years was competitive, a few hundreds dollars - great! However, when we came up for renewal, suddenly the price of a single year was triple the cost of our initial 3 years. This is how they get you, they know its painful to switch certificates, so they have you over a barrel come renewal time.
Our "account manager" was not helpful either, offering a 30% discount on a single year and acting as though this was an amazing deal. A third of the time for double the cost, incredible.
Upon telling our accunt manager that a 30% discount didn't come close to being competitive, the reply was "Understood." Abysmal.

"Got my money, and now they don't care"
They were helpful renewing our certificate. Now, it has been renewed for 5 years, and their support suddenly does not reply back. Consider that before purchasing your next product from DigiCert.

"CEO words"
CEO words:
"SECURITY IS EASY WHEN YOU PUT PEOPLE FIRST
We focus on the person behind every secure transaction.
Initially, DigiCert was founded out of frustration. Digital security shouldn’t be difficult. It should relieve worry, not cause it. And yet something as simple as buying a certificate was so often a painful, time-consuming and frustrating slog through technical jargon and phone-trees. We knew there had to be a better way. So we built it. And then we kept building, always keeping our focus on how our work could help real people solve real problems."
CertiSign, their Brazilian branch, is doing precisely the opposite.

"So upset!"
Have been a customer for more than 5 years. Ordered and paid for my cert on Friday 1st July with 6 days before expiry. Sent mails to chase the order. Nothing. 3 hours before expiry they tried to phone a landline that we had discontinued during Covid. Everything else confirmed. Wanted a letter from my Auditors @ 10pm. One Google search for another option, SSL Cert Paid for, validated and installed before expiry for $19.00 compared to their $400.00.
Horrible experience!

"No Support"
No Support
My previous website SSL orders went fine if a bit slow.
Then I ordered Document Signing - Organization from DigiCert. Slow again, but the certificate was issued.
Getting installation support was impossible. Chat never works. I wrote 3 separate email requests over a few months, only 1st one was acknowledged, but no response was ever received.
I reached out to the sales rep listed on the account. He was surprised that the support was not responding but gracefully suggested reaching out to AR and requesting a refund. Which I did but didn't get a response again.
Finally, I filed a chargeback which they did have the resources to fight and win.
Taking my other SSL business elsewhere is my only recourse.
*** UPDATE (08/15/2022): I received an invite from Trustpilot to share more info, but the the time I came back from vacation, the invite has expired; if you are still interested, please reach out to me directly

"Horrible"
Horrible.
- they are confused
- they are careless
- they do NOT respond to emails consistently
I ordered code signing cert March 9, still do not have. Numerous emails from all over the world, conflicting info.
Finally did the verification call, was told all was good.
Nope. Got an email saying that they sent approval email, I say I didn't get it. I finally got them to check spelling on email - it was wrong. Now I need to verify again.
Here is most annoying thing: they tell me that the email in the ORDER is wrong. Yet I have 20+ emails from them. Then they said that one of the emails in the order is wrong. That is untrue - I sent the order to them showing correct email for both organization & verifier.
Amazing: someone changed the email to be correct. Without me proving anything about who I am etc. Now I am all verified. How incredibly insecure is that process????
I will never use them again.
