"I love DigiCert"
I love DigiCert! They made securing my site easy. My customers are shopping more than ever know the information they provide is safe and secure.

"Do not use this company for code…"
Do not use this company for code signing certificates. They want you to use either Internet Explorer or an old version of FireFox (that they supply) to generate and install their certificates. They inexplicably claim that this is "industry standard practice". Somehow I find it hard to believe that you need to use a browser that doesn't work on newer versions of Windows 10/11 or install an unsecure copy of FireFox to install a secure certificate. Support is useless. Its all canned responses as if the "human" at the other end doesn't really understand the issue. Both times I contacted support they had no idea about the requirements of their own CSR's. Give this company a HARD PASS - especially because they are one of the most expensive providers out there. I have written Microsoft to suggest that they remove them from their list of recommended code cert vendors.

"Nicht überzeugt"
Nicht wirklich überzeugt da anscheinend einfach ohne irgendwelche Antworten Überprüfungen ihrer Lizenzenabgelehnt werden. Möglicherweise da Änderungen vorgenommen werden oder vorgenommen wurden.

"Customer beware! Stay far away from Digicert"
Stay far away from this company. Chats go around in circles and email replies are copy/paste without them even reading the email. Cert company verifications supposedly are only done by telephone now, even though their documentation gives you multiple ways to verify your company they will put you in an endless generic email loop that will never end. Very sad the way they treat long term companies.

"Tried getting a code signing cert from…"
Tried getting a code signing cert from these people. The absolute worst experience I have ever had. Avoid, avoid, avoid. I ended up canceling after days of wasted chat conversations and phone calls.
Their call center is in Australia apparently. Each agent has a new and different reason for why you can't be validated.
Everything said on this site is true.

"Digicert has gone downhill after getting bought out!"
jprog was a multi year customer of Digicert. After the hurricane in New Orleans I was having trouble accessing one of our servers and tried to get a re-issue of our cert. The website could not do it and told me to call a number that went to a call center with English issues, which could only forward me to which was what was likely the remnants of their former stellar support team which did not pick up or call me back.

"Worst support, no refund"
1) This company has worst support that I have ever seen. I have got replies for a single case from different support people, who was not familiar with a problem (certificate approval). Each reply started from from scratch (i.e. like "whats a problem?"). After two weeks of such expirence I felt I just loosing my time. And finally I choose another "not so great" company, which issued certificate for 1/3 of Digicert's price in two days, without any questions.
2) I have cancelled Digicert certificate approval, left the prepaid money on Digicert account.
3) Surprise! The money I left on Digicert account are automatically expires (!!!) after year. I began to receive email about expiring money, and immidiatelly contacted the support (email, live chat etc) for refund.. And returned to the same problem as described in (1). No response.
4) Finnaly, the money has lost.
Thanks Digicert for you great support!!! NEVER AGAIN.

"Codesigning Certificates Incompatible with modern MacOs"
Overall, I am very disappointed with my experience working with DigiCert for an EV Codesigning certificate. Our application requires support for working across platforms (Windows, MacOS, Linux). On the surface DigiCert advertises that it will work on all of these platforms, but under the surface actually trying to get it to run is a different story. The SafeNet hardware token (and associated drivers) that DigiCert sells to customers does not support MacOS Catalina or Big Sur. No where on there website does it state this, however.
Reaching out to support, I was simply told to contact SafeNet directly (the company that sells the hardware token). This seemed reasonable except for the fact that when I reached out to SafeNet, they explained that the hardware token does in fact support modern Mac operating systems with the updated driver that DigiCert should provide to me.
With this information in hand I reached back out to DigiCert support requesting they get the new driver and make it available on their website. However, the response from support was that they cannot get the updated drivers followed by a recommendation to not use modern versions of MacOS.
It is mostly upsetting because there was no mention upfront that this would not work on MacOS; and even more upsetting is that it SHOULD work on MacOS, but DigiCert simply hasn't kept their drivers up to date (and as a customer I have no way to get the new drivers). Rather than help escalate and move in the direction of getting the updated drivers, the support team slammed the door and simply said "not our problem". A company of this size should not be this unhelpful and against staying up to date with software/hardware that they sell.
I would not trust DigiCert again.
Update (August 20, 2022): Received a reply here on TrustPilot from DigiCert stating they have tried to reach out, but I have not been contacted.
