I have referred 2 friends and both times the code hasn’t worked and so I have missed out on £50 in referal discount and they have not had their £25 discount
I understand sometimes links don’t work but I’ve emailed so many times and just keep getting ignored

"Where is My Refund!"

Oh, how delightful it is to be forced to compose this little gem of a message because, heaven forbid, I actually get to talk to a human at the Slimming Clinic! Their live chat? A real treasure trove of vague responses—everything just gets tossed to someone else like a hot potato. Emailing? A magical experience, really. You send your inquiries into the void and wait, possibly forever, for an answer that’s as likely as finding a unicorn.

Let’s not forget the pièce de résistance—my glorious refund of £103.99 for my cancelled monthly prescription. It was snatched from my bank account on December 30th, and yet here I am, still waiting to see if it will magically reappear in my hands. What a fabulous example of stellar customer service; ignoring your customers really does wonders for their blood pressure and tripling their desire to file complaints. Speaking of complaints, I’ve humbly requested their complaints procedure three times now, to no avail. But, hey, they’re regulated by the CQC, so I’m sure they’re just following all the basic requirements flawlessly!

After all my persistent inquiries through all possible channels, I’m practically bursting with clarity about when my money might finally be returned. Truly, what a pleasant experience this has been!
Update: Slimming Clinic refuse to refund me because I didn’t give 2 weeks notice. No mention of this on the live chat when communicating with the ever so helpful patient representative. My GP has advised that I stop taking the medication. The Slimming Clinic are encouraging me to take the months medication that they won’t refund as a solution.
Buyer Beware: Think very carefully before signing up to their monthly prescription service.
Having read the numerous negative posts about the Sliming Clinic here on Trustpilot, it appears that I am not the only one who has experienced extremely poor patient care.

Update : 21/1/2024 No refund, requested medication which has been paid for (against my own GP’s advice) but the Slimming Clinic refuse to refund.

I see that the Slimming Clinic has chosen to share personal patient data with regards to my weight loss which is identifiable. Healthcare providers shouldn’t share patient data on Trustpilot, they may share anonymous data or confidential information in certain circumstances. Therefore I’ve removed my picture and name.

I’ve reported the Slimming Clinic to the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for them to review this service and any potential breaches. Hopefully based on the amount of complaints listed just here on Trustpilot the CQC will be making an unannounced inspection very soon.

I made the orde ronline and made the paymet. THen after that, it requested me to consent to share this information with my GP and also to send a picture and video clip of my body before they could send the order. I was unhappy with this as I did not want for this information to be shared with my GP. I requested order cancellation after (three minuets), but they refused to refund me. They charged me 20% of the order (20 pound). Awful and misleading service.

I’ve have used The slimming clinic a few times all staff are very helpful, Micheal Slater has been especially helpful and patient with me .I would highly recommend the clinic as it’s online no matter where you are able to fit it in with work etc better still your in very safe hands. Hoping to take back control of my body once and for all.
