Ordered during the Christmas/New year period, sent away the relevant information, ID and proofs required for my prescription. Recieved my order and also free samples of protein shakes on my journey. Along with this a letter of ways to contact support if needed. Very professional and straightforward. Thank you.

"Medication not received for a month"
Order placed 17th December 2024 and still not received.
Have sent five emails throughout this time to multiple addresses and have received no response.
It has been so long that the delivery address is no longer valid, so please just cancel my order (#1396244).
I will be issuing a chargeback with American Express if this is not dealt with immediately.

"Shockingly prescribed incorrect dose"
Please avoid using this company. I ordered my first weight loss jab from this company on 29th December 2024 . After an email chasing as they happily took payment my 1st pen arrived on 3rd January. Opened packing to find that SC have prescribed and sent me a 5mg pen instead of 2.5mg. I have now sent several emails and no one has contacted me to rectify this issue.
My question and concerns are how can this be able to happen? Clearly correct checks on items being prepared, prescribed and dispensed are not happening! I’m not the only one looking through the reviews. I will now contact the General Pharmaceutical Council to make a formal complaint.

"The process was quick and easy"
The process was quick and easy. There was an online dashboard to let you know your order status. Replies were quick and efficient and friendly when I called. I liked the fact that the doctor wanted to talk to me before subscribing to make sure I was going to be ok with the side effects I’d had in the past

I had exactly the same experience as Joyce. Sent me the wrong strength of injection. No reply to any emails. I have contacted which consumer member. They will be writing to slimming clinic and they going to publish all my emails to slimming clinic.

"Weight loss is scary and the choices…"
Weight loss is scary and the choices I've made in order to start my journey haven't been backed up by this company. All was well initially, but after the second contact, everything went downhill.
They're slow at responding to email enquiries and the phone number advertised only allows you to book appointments. Even when I rang the number and complained about their service it took them too long to respond or didn't bother at all.
As stated previously, initial contact was fine, placing the order and review with a doctor all within 48 hours, but any contact after that, mistakes with wording on the prescription for instance (error on my part) took well over a week to resolve.
They shipped my last order Wednesday evening and wasn't delivered til the following Tuesday. They should look at their choice of Courier...
I've only used them again this time around (December) because of the discount code, but it's been well over 24 hours as promised in the email for the meds to be dispatched (Doctor emailed me 23rd December to confirm prescription authorised, which I'd ordered 22nd Dec, well in advance of my deadline) and well out of their 48 hour SLA for a response to an enquiry. I'm due my next meds 8th Jan, but if they're not dispatched soon, I'll miss my deadline, I did email them to advise them of this.
I'm not impressed for the second time and won't be recommending them or using them again unless they can change their ways!

A very professional company who prioritise customer wellbeing and make every effort to ensure the treatment fits, in my case anyway
Sometimes a little difficult to contact via phone but always respond in good time via the support email. I had a once a month doctors appointment to review my treatment and they always called on time every time. All meds delivered in good time trouble free
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

It takes an awful lot of injustice for someone to feel that they should share their vulnerability of bad experiences. But it appears that so many have felt and experienced the same, and I only wished I had come across these reviews before. The reviews left by their former staff on Glassdoor are very disquieting!
Enticed by their £50 off for being a new customer, I became one. I ordered a weight loss injection for £154 and paid a further £9.99 for P+P. I really wished I hadn't bothered; it turned out to be the greatest of personal regrets of 2024 and I quickly learned the value of the adage, “If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is”.
After a lengthy process of giving multiple documentary and video evidence, I specifically requested that my prescription be authorised and medication dispatched before a given date and that I get assurances of medication expiry date before they dispatched or otherwise I would need to cancel the order. They agreed to the terms.
They missed the agreed dispatch date. They failed to inform me of the expiry date.
They dispatch a day after the agreed date and defended it by referring to their “processing times”. Even though the ‘process’ was well and truly over. It would be 3 days later that Royal Mail Tracked 24 attempted delivery.
Consumer Advice Service and Trading Standards advised that it was a breach of contract and I was within my rights to refuse delivery and demand a full refund.
Attempting to communicate this to this company was vexing, their attitude wasn’t really patient-centred nor exactly welcoming to a new customer, but more of “just put it in the fridge when it arrives, what’s the problem, they are fine at room temperature for 30 days”. Clinical Guidance by Government and Eli Lilly state 21 days. Dangerously outdated clinical advice.
They were very selective in selecting which emails if any they responded to and I’m fully expecting an excuse of IT systems being down when reviews on here demonstrate they were able to respond to every positive email they received.
I was referred to a clause in their policy about no refunds and something about medical goods – but they are not legally sound say Trading Standards, very misleading and restricting of rights.
The address on their website is not their registered address for correspondence, I had to call Companies House to get that verified so that I could send them a Notification Before Court Action by recorded delivery. It’s a bit confusing as they trade under a different name Slim at Home, and there has been a history of company folding. County Court Claim drafted in anticipation – really easy to do with MoneyClaim online. You can charge court fees, interest and damages.
Stick to your trusted pharmaceutical services. They rarely answer the phone, give you false promises, are passive-aggressive on chat, and have zero empathy for your emotional, health and well-being, and their ‘policy’, as do the reviews left here by others attest to profits over people. They are at the complete opposite end of the moral spectrum when it comes to your care.

I was given all relevant information, and the products are shipped out really efficiently - would recommend to anyone willing to try this process - you’re in good. Safe hands and it really does work!
