What an absolute s**tshow. Interparcel have been nothing but horrible my whole experience. Have just recently moved to the uk with my partner and was getting luggage sent over with winter clothes. "Mary" who is a senior customer service agent told my parents that it will be hundreds of $$ cheaper to send them in a box as apposed to a suitcase. All my stuff was packed in vaccum sealed bags before I left and was told it all has to be taken out and viewed by the guy picking it up. My girlfriend just got her suitcase(which is heavier and bigger then mine was) sent over through the same company for the same price? and didn't have to have her things searched through?
It doesn't end there though. I filled out the ToR01 form and sent the URN number through to them before the package arrived, which they failed to pass onto UPS. My box has been in the same suburb for the past 5 days but they wont deliver it because they want me to pay the customs tax that should be voided now.
I've tried contacting UPS but the tracking number Interparcel provided doesnt match up with the UPS tracking number so they wont let me proceed further.
All in all Interparcel are bloody useless and you should look for another way to send things. Mary is an absolute joke of a customer service representative and should be fired.

The problem with Interparcel is in the booking system.
Next day collections are misleading and false. The system should not allow for next day collections when clearly they cannot be collected.
Once again my collection has failed and I have to wait for 3 failed attempts and multiple phone calls before the matter is escalated to a Team Leader.
FIX THE SYSTEM or simply don't operate with a broken system.

"Extra Freight Charges Guaranteed?"
I strongly advise you to measure and weigh your parcel and keep photographic evidence because, in 30 days after the goods have been delivered, more than likely you will be charged "extra freight and administration" from the freight company (StarTrack Express). They won't advise you on pickup or on delivery there is a problem. Instead, they will wait 30 days to invoice the extra charges knowing most people cannot or will not challenge them. This is long after the goods have been sent, received, unpacked and put into use. They don't even tell you what the actual freight issue is or how it was calculated. However, they will offer you a small discount if you pay within 7 days. This has scam and price gouging written all over it. Whilst Interparcel Australia have since credited me the $66 of additional charges "as a gesture of goodwill", they refuse to acknowledge that the process is flawed/dishonest. I didn't need or appreciate the lecture on my breaching of their terms and conditions but they clearly could invest some time in understanding brand damage arising from poor customer service standards and what is a reasonable timeframe for raising extra charges. Whether it is Interparcel Australia or StarTrack Express itself, there is no excuse for not identifying and communicating a size or weight discrepancy immediately upon pickup or delivery so it can be agreed and sorted on the spot.

"Damaged in transit"
Had 2 front fenders in near new condition (verified by seller with photos) delivered damaged and utterly useless, not even a panel beater would touch them (I asked a few).
Refused to rectify and given same old scripted response to avoid responsibility all the way up the ladder.
Don't even consider it! Take your money elsewhere. Pay a little more now but save so much in the long run.

I Shipped a 1000kg Shipment from Sydney to Melbourne for $330 then more than I month later Interparcel email me with a Bill 2.5 times the original price for being supposedly 30kg's over even know my cubes weight was actually smaller than stated!
You declared:
Parcel 1: 1000.0 kg - 160cm x 120cm x 100cm (This is 480 cubic weight by the way)
However the carrier has notified us that the actual weight is:
Parcel 1: 1030.0 kg - 142cm x 116cm x 107cm (This is 440 cubic weight by the way)
Essentially it is saying that the pallet I got shipped was actually smaller than I stated but 30kg's heavier which is a total of 3% Heavier.
The total amount paid was $330.88
Interparcel are now stating the total shipment price is $777.30 which is more than double the original shipment price. That's an extra $446.42! On enquiring about it the reply I have received is "sorry it's not up to us how much is charged" I will never be using this company again.
EDIT - I have contacted all the departments and all keep stating the same thing, that they want to charge me more than double the shipment amount for a 3% weight increase but a smaller pallet size and cubic weight, no regotion or explanation as to how it could possible 2.5 times the original price and general no care given to resolve this situation after attempting to talk with them privately before posting this. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

"Customer service owns my issues"
We are a small business that uses Interparcel for courier services bookings. We had an issue with one of the courier companies not picking up the parcels from our warehouse resulting on delays and unhappy customers.
The customer service team at Interparcel owned the problem and worked hard to resolve it, it took a while as the courier company did not respond to us very timely but we got there at the end and it is working very well now.
