Had to wait nearly 3 months for delivery hence only 4 stars. I nearly asked for my money back but kept faith and glad I did. Customer services were excellent and kept me informed. Luckily I ordered early but this may be why it wasn't in stock until delivery in the spring. However, once my dining set arrived, quality was excellent, all with included rain covers. Very happy with my purchase. All for a great price. Great delivery, I could change the date and delivery service excellent.

"Cambridge Table and Chairs"

Ordered Cambridge table and chairs before Christmas with March delivery. chased in April and the furniture turned up few days later. I’ve bought from this company before and furniture is of a good quality. The delivery men were not particularly helpful as I paid for them to remove the packaging and dispose of it in my order asked me if I wanted to unpack it? Opened first box and glass for lazy Susan was broken so told them to leave the box with table glass in it after checking the glass so they didn’t remove packaging. Spoke to company who offered me a discount but said no want exactly what was ordered. They rang me back few days later and said they would send new Lazy Susan which they did. The table was not easy to put together as some of the fixings were bent which meant the screws would not go through had to go out and buy longer screws which was then much easier. The lazy Susan does not spin as the metal bars underneath it look like they have been out on the wrong way round so not very impressed with this particular order although their customer service are responsive I haven’t yet told them about the lazy Susan as only tried it today! UPDATE lazy Susan didn’t spin as the 2 metal rings inside had been put in the wrong way luckily delivery men had left the old one when glass was broken. The parasol will not tighten in the base and despite raising this problem last week still waiting for it to be solved. Would I use this company again absolutely not I have now asked for the parasol base to be refunded as it’s not fit for purpose.

"Problems with delivering when you want them to "

When we created the order online , they asked us to pick a specific delivery date . We did - a Monday in April - as that suited our situation .

On our requested delivery day we’d received no communication about delivery, so I called customer service to chase .

We then got an email and text from the logistics company , saying they’d deliver on the Wednesday. We emailed back saying that was not acceptable, and requested Thursday pm.

On the Tuesday we got an email saying it was out for delivery today we replied ‘great’ because our plans had changed and we were at home all day .

We then got a reply saying ‘sorry for the confusion, we’ll try to reschedule as per your previous request’.

I then called customer service to complain, who told me the delivery was scheduled for Wednesday !

We ordered an outdoor sofa from them in November last year. Paid nearly £500 and told delivery date would be February. Nothing arrived. Rang them and was told it would be May. I was furious, as no communication from them to tell me this. Was told I’d be rung late March with update. No phone call. Rang them, demanding my money back. So reluctant to do so. Threatened them with legal action. Eventually they said it would be in my bank within five working days. NO MONEY ARRIVED!
Rang them again, e mailed them as well saying we were taking legal action, surprise surprise the money arrived.
What a dreadful incompetent company!

Got my garden furniture in the winter at sale price. Yet to try them out in the warmer weather. Rattan Direct are very reasonable, we had 1 cover missing, they partially refunded us as they had no stock for replacement. Few months later they sent us a replacement. Can't ask for more. RD are very responsive too, will recommend it!
