"Excellent Quality"

Excellent Quality, Great discount. I ordered 4 Chairs & round table with Parasol and base Last year 2024 October. They told the delivery will take 3months and will receive the items in March. I was skeptical about the due date however after couple of follow ups I got a new delivery date on April 7th and item was delivered on time without any damages. It was so good to see the garden furniture as a new add on to my back yard. The only downline is that we have to call to follow up with them about the delivery rather than they sending the mail to customers about the delays. Other than that everything is excellent service.

"Great garden furniture but significant delivery delay"

Ordered the Roma 6 rattan chairs and open leg rectangular table set in black and vanilla back on 23 Jan 2025 with a delivery date of 27 Feb, it finally arrived on 6 April!!!! Customer Services never made any contact with me regarding the delays to delivery but were responsive when I emailed them to enquire about my order. Glad I did make my first contact on 26 Feb or I'd have waited in for an order not to arrive the following day!! When I made email contact the company typically responded within 24 hours (I emailed for updates a total of 4 times in the end to be told of delays to deliveries arriving in the country and finally to be told my order was with the delivery company). I did actually check Trustpilot for reviews ahead of ordering having never used the company before and at the time the feedback was 'reasonable'. However, in these first few months of 2025, the feedback has deteriorated due to customers experiencing similar issues to me which caused me some anxiety believing I may have purchased from a 'bad' company. However, I'm pleased to report that despite a significant delay to what was originally promised, my furniture arrived on 6 April and I'm very pleased with it. It seems good quality and the table was easy to assemble. Fingers crossed now for longevity. So thankfully not a 'dodgy' company, just one experiencing some delays to delivery but it could significantly improve it's customer service to actually keep customers up to date which would provide a level of peace of mind. I'd have been more understanding if the communications had come from them in a timely manner rather than me chasing them and getting concerned!!! So ultimately furniture would be 4* but customer service in my experience 2*, so gave the average of 3* for this review!

I have purchased several items from this company and the sun lounger did not disappoint. Very comfortable yet practical. Wake me up later!

"Riviera set with parasol"

We had a slight delay with our delivery, however all good things come to those who wait. We are really impressed with the quality of our furniture, the chairs are really comfortable. The covers that came with our set are also a very good quality. I would not hesitate to recommend.

"Furniture is excellent quality"

. Great quality rattan sun beds. Had chairs before and they never fade over time.
Delivery was on the Monday instead of the previous Friday but I was informed all the way by txt and then a phone call on the day giving us estimated time of arrival just 40 mins before

"You pay and don't get your items as advised"

The price was amazing - £500 in November for a 6 seater outdoor table. The price was why I gave them two stars. Delivery was gradually pushed back from February to April which I understood. I was a bit concerned because it gave a bad impression but I thought for the price I could wait a bit longer. I received an email to say the table was coming today and I took a day off work for it. I thought something was strange last night when the delivery company didn't send me a two hour window as promised. At 9.15am, I still hadn't heard from them so I called them up as my gut said there was an issue with delivery. I spoke on the phone to someone who assured me a call back before midday. On the phone call, I sensed I was being fobbed off but thought I'd give her a chance and wouldn't 'jump the gun' by assuming. 12pm came - no call. 2.30pm came. No call. I called a second time and the same woman said she hadn't had an update - a courtesy call would have been appreciated. She has now said she would call back by 5pm. As yet nothing and I'm very sceptical. I hope to be proved wrong. So now the situation is, I have paid for my items which were due today and haven't come. They aren't even with the courier apparently. There is no communication on when they are arriving either. I think I have just discovered why the prices / sale offers are so cheap. If this isn't resolved very promptly this will be the last time I order from rattan direct because what you gain in low prices you lose in delivery. Having read the other reviews, which weren’t up by the time I ordered, I am now pretty convinced it’s fraudulent. Simply add up all the money people say they have spent, Rattan Direct invest it and make a real profit before finally delivering some goods. Dodgy - I used to work in a fraud department and this company has a lot of red flags

"To be avoided due to inaccurate and long delivery times "

I would avoid buying anything from Rattan Direct, particularly if you are looking for garden furniture for this summer.

I ordered a Barcelona 4-seater cube set on 16 February 2025, with an expected delivery date of March 2025. That has now been moved back to 6 May 2025, with a vague explanation of there being ‘supplier issues’. Who knows when/if it will actually arrive.

I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. On the same period of delay, you would missing much of this summer.

Update on this review 17/4/25- they have now advised that the delay will be longer, with June now being hoped. Wholly unacceptable! Avoid buying from this company at all costs.

"Furniture looked really nice when it…"

Furniture looked really nice when it arrived but unfortunately, despite being covered all winter, it has lots of black mould spots on the teak.
UPDATE
Apparently mould and splits in furniture are not covered by their warranty, despite the furniture being less than six months old and covered with coverings supplied by their company! They have carefully considered my case apparently, and can only offer advice on how to repair cracks and remove mould. I strongly suggest you do not purchase from this company. I will be contacting my credit card company for recompense.

"Delivery Nightmare"

Like others before me the delivery times stated are just not real! Stayed in all day 31st March, took literally hours to communicate with the Customer Support, after having tried the Delivery Department. Finally had a call back - very apologetic but quoting some time in April or May and they will let me know. (Ha Ha). Absolutely no idea when I am going to receive my order. They are over subscribed, they have my money and I have no idea when (or if) I am ever going to receive my order. Ordered on 25 Feb 2025
