Rebel has helped get my business online and it's been a delightful experience. I am fairly technically savvy so it hasn't been too difficult to navigate, but even a newbie could easily operate the platform. I highly recommend rebel for your domain and hosting needs!!

Big Foot -- Miserable IT Gnome

"DNS records randomly changing or…"

DNS records randomly changing or disappearing in last few weeks on at least 3 domains. Customer support confused, does not understand basic networking terminology. They blame the customer and everybody else. In technical term, what appears to be the problem is that their software fails/screws up the nameserver records they are supposed to send to the root registry. Today it took an hour to explain to them that the problem is theirs, not mine.

"Rebtel stole my money in my account by…"

Rebtel stole my money in my account by turning on automatic top ups option on my Rebtel account without my consent and went ahead to empty the money in my account by using unauthorized calls pretext!! I saw hundreds of calls to numbers that I knew not. it went on for over two weeks before I discovered the fraud. When I contacted Rebtel support manager about it he went ahead and deleted all the evidence I had on my Rebtel account and then shut down my account. He has since then refused to communicate with me!!! Rebtel is a scam to let others know. Don't wait until it happens to you.

"Rebel “DNS Glitch” = MY XMAS LO$$ES - "Loyal 2 Decades! But 2 Day they forced me to Wix.com"

Im leaving rebel and leaving 1 star… strickly for the amazing front line phone support staff (like Israel + others) that are clearly capable but have their hands tied from simple and obvious day to day business solutions that anyone would agree makes sense Rebel management should empowered their trusted front line team to navigate. The remaing 4 stars have been lost to the gatekeppers neglect of management.

PONDERING YOUR OPTIONS? Well Good luck getting a rebel rep on the phone before a 45 min wait on hold within their ever receding support hours offered. When you can finally reach them, they will seem continually hindered by the untouchable gate keepers they have to call “managers” that deprive them from doing their job tasks as described by the term service and / or support.

Said managers are evidently out of touch of the workings of busiess in general and ignorant to the needs of a small business. Those that are lucky to have days off, and feel its ok to take 4+ days to reply while locking the account of any movement on until they are back from vacation. Effin weak!

Todays nil minded decision to push me yet another day, I would have fired you FIRED for the lax decision you made and the tax you played on a good client! I RUN A BUSINESS? Not a BNB Darling! it is Monday?… A Canadian business to which is why I am with rebel am still with them after 2 decades for i guess no apparent reason at all. 2 day you puched me away to Wix.com!

That said I do hope you enjoyed your Holiday Shawna!! I guess my 20 years + of loyal business isnt worth it to you… To make me wait another day for you to reply … I must remind you I am the customer and of the delitful term, redundancy. I sent over 12 to 20 emails with vivid descriptions of my issues since the start of december 2024! Its now Dec 30, 2024 and you want me to wait another day for you knowing I would leave with my main entities… Your bluff has been called. Suprising myself and your that was upset they couldnl't help. Anyone would question the fact if your company carries ZERO redundancy for simple day to day solutions leaving it just one person holding the key to my success. No Thank you!

BUT WAIT, THERES MORE! -$$$
This is all just weeks after rebel.com reset the DNS to my main “managed hosting package” without notice or my Authentication? I was told it was a glitch in the system as well that a spacific rep did an unauthorized DNS reset for no reason, nor mention leaving me a complete loss for any and all sales or even simple awareness for the 4x self published Paper back books I authored and have tirelessly spent the last 7 months of my life to have ready in time for the Holiday season. I didnt realize rebel shit the bed on their end until it was too late and sunk me is so many means of the term… Some say I should be pursuing my legal options to sue, given my preemptive threads i sent weeks prior to my deadline. All said, this BONEHEAD move cost me THOUSAND$ in potential Christmas 2024 sales. Not to mention taxed my soul internally deprived my being of any sort of joy for the season in all regards figuring out how to swallow the lo$$.

I do look forward to a appology from reble to address all sad above and for Shawna’s ignorant decision today to feel my business can wait until she gets back from her holidays. While knowing my bottom line i have clearly pleaded for weeks that i would leave!

"worst customer service ever!"

worst customer service ever!. Sites go down and they could care less. You wait on hold for 20 minutes then get hung up on. Support it awful.
Nothing but aggrivation. Do yourself a fever and find another hosting company!!

"BEWARE OF UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES"

This company will automatically charge you well in advance of domains. Reversing the charges will take hours online and on hold as there is no accessible way to reach them.

DON'T recommend at all. TAKE SCREENSHOTS OF ALL TRANSACTIONS.

UPDATE. I had a mystery charge on my credit card that was unexplained and NOT on my billing history.

Update: after spending a fair amount of time online to try and get it remedied they did fix the issues. I now have no hidden renewals to my knowledge.

The support staff were always cordial and as helpful as possible. None of the issues had anything to do with them.

"Garbage customer service"

this is by far the worst company in the domain hosting business. terible customer service. robot for an email service. try calling you get linked to an indian call centre so many of them yellling you cant hear or understand. very bad experience. wasted alot of my precious time. do not make this mistake. look elsewhere
