Professional service from start to finish, both Leroy & Kayne who installed the windows & doors were fantastic. Polite, efficient and personable they work extremely hard leaving no mess at all. The finish is high spec and I am really pleased with the overall look. I would not hesitate to recommend again. Thanks lads for a job well done.

I installed windows from bracken windows.

Be careful when you buy credit agreement with them.

Brackenwood will robb money buy now pay later scheme.

The agent told me I have to contact finance when credit agreement ending.

I don't know when agreement is ending. Hitachi finance will only email or text. I asked Hitachi finance why you don't send me by postal service. Hitachi answer me they won't do postal service.

how do I know when agreement is ending. if I received final notice letter from Hitachipersonalfinance. I will aware when is last date pay for this rubbish company windows money.

Now,I get lotted from Brackenwood windows and Hitachi finance.

"The windows are dreadful,"

The windows are dreadful. The glazing beading was the wrong size which caused gaps between the frame and the beading. The frames were scratched and very badly finished with waste material from the welded joints left at the corners. Three of the window openings had to be replaced because they were sticking. The installation was very poor. One of the window sills was fitted without end caps. The mortar repairs were dreadful. On average each window had around six faults. My home was damaged by the fitters; they gauged the dining room ceiling, badly scratched my wardrobe, dented a door frame and knocked a large chunk out of the plaster in the sitting room wall. The whole experience was dreadful especially the rude manager who made me feel extremely stressed and upset. Choose someone else.

We’ve recently had a complete window replacement and I have to say Brackenwood have been outstanding, Mike our sales contact was honest, transparent and extremely informative. Less than 4 weeks from giving them the job they were booking themselves in for the instal. The fitters were great, hard working thorough and very experienced- if you’re considering new or replacement windows have every confidence they’ll do an outstanding job

"I would avoid Brackenwood"

I would avoid Brackenwood, the satisfied customer reviews don’t appear to have needed the “service” department which is absolutely awful – so if you buy from Brackenwood you’ll need to hope that nothing goes wrong. We had 21 windows, patio doors, a back door, front door and porch installed in December 2020 – so not a small job or a small investment. There were 3 issues left over from the installation and one that we created (a plumber broke a window fitting a bathroom). All issues were reported to Brackenwood as soon as we could in January – we heard absolutely nothing for months until out of the blue we were informed we’d get a service call. The guy arrived with 2 incorrect parts, so only 2 of the 4 issues were resolved – here we are 6 months after the initial installation with radio silence from Brackenwood and no clue as to when the issues will be resolved. Who thinks that is acceptable customer service? I note they’re somewhat shamefully justifying their appalling service with Covid – I work for a service company and we sorted ourselves out completely within weeks of the initial lockdown last year – why can’t they?

Installer Vasilis, was excellent. Great job done, efficiently with comprehensive care instructions provided once the installation was completed. Vasilis cleaned up once he was finished and the entire experience from sales to installation was hassle free. Would highly recommend.

"Windows and doors replaced…"

We (Anthony and Laraine Head) had our windows and doors replaced by Brackenwood windows last week. The service was exceptional, they left the house each day clean and tidy. We were impressed and the fitters Leroy and Kayne were a credit to Brackenwood, always providing us with a smile and a joke.

I am not one to leave ‘bad’ reviews, however, on this occasion I feel I should. I contacted Brackenwood Windows last week. After the first initial phone call, I was a little hesitant after being asked if I was the sole owner on the property or if it was a joint mortgage. I confirmed to the gentleman on the phone that I own the property with my Husband. After that, I was told “ok, I will arrange for you and Mr Tait to have the surveyor come over at 4pm tomorrow to give you a quote”. I tried explaining this time wasn’t particularly convenient due to school pick ups etc but I agreed and left it as it was. Monday arrived (22 March 2021) and at approx 1pm I had a phone call from the surveyor. I initially thought he was calling to confirm our appointment, but how wrong was I! He asked what our requirements were and I began to tell him that we would like a glass roof and bi-folding doors. He asked the approx area in which we would be having our conservatory so I told him around 12msq. Following this, the gentleman’s response was “well, we are going to be looking in the region of £18000-£20000, so it’s quite expensive and I don’t want to drive all that way and waste my time”. I asked if this included the foundations as well and he said no. I explained that we had much cheaper quotes than this and his response was “well I think on this occasion, we are going to have to say no to you”. The more I think about this, the more insulted I am!! To start with, yes, I may own the property with my husband however, who are they to say my Husband has the overall say?! And to follow up with a phone call prior to visiting to more or less say they’re too expensive for us! Again, how do they know about our finances and who are they to judge whether or not we can afford their prices?! I have had 4 quotes now and not one of the companies asked to see both my husband and I and not once did any of them query our finances! Today, I am extremely pleased that I paid a deposit for our conservatory to be built and am so glad I found excellent customer service elsewhere!
