"Tiled roof replacing our glass conservatory roof"

James & Adam worked really hard in sub zero temperatures to put a tiled roof on our conservatory. They did an excellent job, were punctual and friendly and we are delighted with the result.

The installation of our replacement conservatory roof with a solid, tiled roof was carried out in an explemary manner by Adam & James from Brackenwood. They were punctual, polite and left the conservatory clean and tidy after each day despite the inclement weather. attention to detail was first class and we are very happy with the result. I would definitely recommend Brackenwood and would be happy to use them again in the future.

"The guarantee is a con"

I had my windows replaced by Brackenwood under the promises of a 10 year guarantee. Now that one of the windows has a broken seal with condensation in it, I'm told that I must pay for the labour because the labour guarantee was only one year. This, I accept, is stated somewhere in the middle of the terms and conditions but it was never mentioned by anyone at the time when they explained how wonderful the 10 year guarantee was.
I am extremely disappointed and I feel misled because they know that no one reads the terms and conditions word for word before signing. There should be an asterix on the guarantee page alerting us to this.
What a con!
Please note that I am within the 10 years and, as this is normal wear and tear, why am I being quoted a minimum charge of £90 plus vat when you are saying there is no charge for normal wear and tear? If Brackenwood really do mean what they say then I would appreciate a call to confirm this as I have only had 2 calls where the exact opposite has been said.

From the first contact to completion of our new garden room Brackenwoods service and staff were just excellent. The installation team were prompt each day, extremely professional and polite and did a fantastic job. We had a minor issue with the bi-fold door not closing tight and only noticed this when the weather turned colder. They quickly had someone out and fixed the issue which was just a simple adjustment to the door and the engineer who's name was Paul explained how I could do this too if ever needed in the future. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Fabulous to do business with, cannot recommend highly enough.

Brilliant service start to finish from the initial meeting with Natalie who put together the door, attention to detail excellent, competitive pricing, the excellent service from the office keeping me updated to when the door would be fitted (which was ahead of schedule by 4 weeks). The fitter installed the door who was called Vasi attention to detail was excellent and did a super job.
Any future home improvements i will be using them again.

"Not even 18 month"

Not even 18 month, and can't open one of the window, the locking mechanism is brocken, that part should last years, not months, also the part will come free of charge, we are expected to pay £90 for something that was either faulty or installed incorrectly.

Windows fitted in 3 days 14-16th of September 2022 as almost the whole house needed an upgrade. Everyone I dealt with was very professional and willing to support me, Andrew who first visited our property and carried out a survey, Ryan carried out 2nd survey, Reg & Stu the fitters, Catherine from accounts & payments were all fantastic!
I gave a 5 star ⭐️ rating for the wonderful customer service experienced.
But, today 23/10/22, after the rains in Reading I visited the property as we have not moved in yet due to some renovations. (I noted some of the lead paint chipped out and I’m hoping this is going to be resolved in a professional manner too !!) Thank you .

Great service from start to finish. Fair and reasonable quote, no messing about. Quality product. Slight change to layout of one window to improves aesthetics as recommended by the guys on site. An issue with a window which was incorrect size but all resolved without a fuss and building left secure etc. Would highly recommend.
