"Awful customer service"

Awful customer service. Went in for a quote and the sales advisor was rude and just shrugged when we asked a question. I contacted brackenwood on the email address given but got no reply.

We had 5 new windows fitted by Barry Elmore and Jamie Chapman and are delighted both with the windows and the installers, who were efficient and left everything clean and tidy. Have no hesitation in recommending the Company and the installers.

We had a solid roof fitted to our conservatory. The pre sales process was smooth, and the communication was excellent. When the chaps arrived on the agreed date, they were excellent. Very professional and efficient. The room has now been completely transformed from an oven in the summer and closed off ice box in the winter, to an amazing space. It’s much cooler when the sun shines, and although we’ve not experienced a winter with it yet, I can tell from the thickness of the insulation in the timber framed roof that it’s going to retain heat incredibly well. When the chaps had finished the roof they spent an hour or so undertaking some general maintenance on my conservatory door and windows, which I did not expect them to do. The plasterer came earlier today and it’s now ready to paint. I may have been able to get a cheaper job, but the standard of workmanship and quality of materials would be hard to match at the price charged. We are very happy and looking forward to having a lovely room we can use 365 days a year.

Brackenwood windows never fails to deliver We had this company sometime ago to do a front Porch and later the house facials And this time we had all the windows replaced The transformation to the house has been amazing From Andy’s visit to the installers the workmanship has been fantastic Jim and Ant did the work so efficiently that they went above a and beyond to ensure maximum satisfaction also to leave the place clean and tidy

Barry Elmore and Jamie Chapman did a really professional job fitting the windows to a very high standard and they look great and have made our house look like new - thanks to all involved!

Very prompt response for an enquiry about fitting 6 windows plus front door and external cupboard door, following their advertising on local radio. Natalie arrived on time and gave me a favourable initial quote which was followed up with a site survey. It was thought that I needed a lintel installed as one was not present, so this was added to the quote. Luke, Adam, and Martin arrived promptly as arranged on the installation day one and it was discovered a lintel was in fact there so a new steel one was not needed, this was then taken straight off of the bill. Luke, Adam and Martin all worked tidily with minimal mess and disruption, were friendly and courteous and worked hard all day. Day two Luke and Adam arrived in good time again and worked on to complete the job and leave it all tidy. Ray then arrived a few days later to do a quality assurance visit plus touch up a couple of manufacturing marks and sign off. Final payment made and activated guarantee. Very pleased with the installation from start to finish, thanks very much to Luke and Adam plus everyone else involved.

As a starter If possible I would have given Brackenwood a 4.8 out of 5.
I contacted Brackenwood on 22nd January having heard their advertising drive on the radio. Initial response was swift and David visited me on 25th January to discuss my requirements and complete an initial survey.
His quotation was with me the same day and we agreed to move forward with the work.
A more extensive measure up and survey was then completed the next week (sorry I missed the gentleman name)
I was contacted by Catherine on 8th February and a detailed install programme was provided including for the scaffold erection on 29th February and then window install on 1st March.
The install team of Chris, Martin & Heath arrived around 9.30am on 1st March as planned and proceeded to carry remove 7x existing windows and replace with new.
They worked non-stop and completed the replacement around 3.30pm.
I can't fault the installation everything looks great, is well finished and my wife and I are very happy with the results however one minor gripe was that the clear up on completion was a little lacking. Quite a lot of debris was left especially on our conservatory roof and in the bedrooms.
However I would not let this distract from a good job carried out by the whole team from start to finish.
