"Decent installation in a short timescale"

The front door in my rental property had warped in the wet weather and was difficult to close. I needed a new one fairly quickly due to the difficulty with closing and investigated the door designer on the Brackenwood web site. This worked reasonably well and gave a good idea of what I could order. When I contacted them by phone they assured me they could deliver in a much shorter timescale than their usual 10 week lead time as it was a small job. The order went through reasonably smoothly with a few hiccups that were quickly sorted out. The rest of the process was smooth and the door was eventually installed much sooner than I initially expected. The installer Luke was great and did a nice tidy installation. Well done all.

Sean (twins) and Anthony worked very very hard and left the site very clean. I am extremely impressed and I would highly recommend them. They began on time and didn’t not stop until 6pm, very hard workers! Thanks you to Shean and Anthony and Brackenwood.

"New Bi-Fold Doors"

We are delighted with our new Bi-Fold doors which were installed on 24/8/23, the quality of the product is excellent and they are so easy to operate. My reason is reflected in the poor / non existent communication I have had from Brackenwood. Prior to the doors being installed no one made contact to reconfirm if the installation date was still ok (I would have thought a phone call 24 hours prior to the install date would be been expected). There hasn’t been anyone calling since to see how we were getting on with our new doors so this is disappointing.

Brackenwood aftercare has been amazing since they built our conservatory in 2019. Due to ongoing issues that were not necessarily Brackenwoods fault they have always helped to fix the issues at their own expense. Special thanks to Alan Boden who since day 1 has always taken the time to help us and promptly replied to our emails.
Also thankyou to the CEO Allan Forbes who has personally assisted and taken the time to visit us on occasions. Very professional and a personal touch. Much appreciated.

"After complaining to customer service…"

After complaining to customer service on failure of grass panels, they finally sent someone to check and measure the Windows ( 5 panels) even though we have to wait more than 3 weeks. Workmen changed 4 panels but Said last panels was on not enough to be fit on.so we had wait another month for last panel. At end , we can see outside with clear glass. Also we are happy the extend warranty to another 4 years. Thanks for the effort.

"Rubbish Aftercare"

After having doors and windows fitted some 12 years ago their after service is very poor. When we had problems with a window that wouldn't shut they wanted payment before they even came to the house! This year another window wouldn't open, I filled in the online service request form, we got a phone call the same day and were told we would need a replacement window window (without even seeing what the problem was)
They said they would get back to us with the price but 3 months later we've heard nothing. We got a private firm out who did the repair!!! After care is rubbish.

"I do not recommend"

I do not recommend. Sales and Service are good (responsive, helpful). Products (windows, doors and fitting) are TOTAL GARBAGE! We have had nothing but problems with them since installation one year ago and I'm now informed my 12 month labour warranty has expired and I have to pay £90 for an engineer to come out (which doesn't guarantee a fix as they have been out multiple times). W.ve had problems with multiple windows and the front door. Total joke! The front door was not fitted correctly from day one. The windows and doors should last years! Why am I expected to pay £90 to repair something that is clearly faulty or installed incorrectly. Not impressed and I will not refer anyone else! £15,000 spent!! 15 GRAND! The 10 year guarantee they bark on about is worth nothing!

Update 16/10/23. Another window faulty and cannot be closed. Service request logged.
Update 17/10/23. Fault fixed, thanks. As stated before - service and engineers are good. Products (windows and doors) are total garbage.

Just got fitted windows from them. The team of Mark, Mark and Martin was unbelievable professional. Arrived on time. Very kind and helpful the best team and people what you can get in job like that. Hopefully Brackenwood got more teams like them. Definitely will be requested them again for other project.
