All in all my experience with Brackenwood Windows was good, Although there were a few hiccups during the course of what I selected, and what was in the contract, One of the windows was accidentally omitted from the contract and only realised after the contract was signed, we were able to rectify it immediately. So it is very important read through everything that has been written.

The installers were very diligent, arrived at my property on time and completed the job excellently. Showed me how to use the locks on my new windows. I am a happy customer and will certainly use and recommend Brackenwood windows

Jim and Ant came today to fit a new back door. Also a window and French window in a partially completed extension. Absolutely no problems and they managed to complete the work beside my builder who was still working on the roof. Quick and efficient and my builder made positive comments too!

I would just like to thank Brackenwood for their recent installation job, in which they replaced 8 timber framed windows on the book of our house.

I dealt originally with Eddie - a salesman at the showroom in Basingstoke. He was well informed about the range of products, came to visit our house to discuss available options, and managed to up-sell the number of windows we were originally looking at replacing. He did not push too hard when it came to closing the deal, which my wife and I appreciated. I should also add that Brackenwood were one of the only companies who seemed to offer 0% finance, which was a big positive for us.

Once the installation was booked - some 5-6 weeks after the order was made, the job itself was booked for a 2 day completion. Jason and Leroy turned up on Day 1 and came across as professional and efficient. Since we were replacing wood-framed windows which were not in the best condition, it took them a bit longer to complete the tasks on day 1, and what I really appreciated about their approach was that they called the cavalry in on Day 2 with no less than 3 extra vans full of workmen turning up to complete the job on time by Day 2.

My wife and I spotted a few extra bits that needed doing after the job had completed, so perhaps the 2 day target had been a little bit tight to begin with, and the job should have had extra hands on Day 1 to begin with? I say this because the install took place in the middle of November when it starts going dark by the mid-afternoon, and it is possible that even the extra heads on Day 2 might have missed a thing or two in the fading light.

Nevertheless, dealing with the office to book in a follow-up visit to sort these extra bits was an easy process, and a return visit was quickly arranged.

All in all, the experience with Brackenwood was a very positive one and when it comes to looking at replacing the windows on the front of the house - which will need doing before too long - we will have Brackenwood at the top of out list for companies to choose from!

"Excellent service from Brackenwood"

We've recently had our large conservatory rebuilt, with new windows, doors and a solid pitched roof to replace the previous translucent plastic panels, which leaked during rain and made the room cold in the winter and baking hot in summer. Mike Green from Brackenwood visited and produced an excellent design to re-orientate the roof, and was very patient & knowledgeable with no trace of hard sell whatsoever. When the fitters duly arrived, Lee & Johnny (and several others who were drafted in to help) were all highly professional, polite & hard working, despite having to cope with changeable and often terrible weather. The building works went exactly to schedule and were finished on time. We're delighted with the finish of the work and our new conservatory has really become more of an extension. The plasterer Matt has done a fine job of finishing the ceiling & walls, and the elecricians John, George and Luke have fitted new lighting and switches which look great at night. Altogether we are very pleased with the work and would heartily recommend Brackenwood to anyone considering having similar work done in the future.

We had a front door fitted recently that we are very happy with.

From the initial consultation (no pushy sales tactics), through to installation, the service was exceptional and the staff were very helpful. The door also looks great.

Would definitely recommend.

"Misleading Guarantee"

Installation in March 2021 was good but when a window handle and lock failed this summer it was necessary to pay £90 for someone to come and look at it. Despite the cause being faulty fittings as supplied by Brackenwood that had to be changed, it is unreasonable to require customers to pay for a call out in such circumstances. The guarantee is close to being worthless.
