Very easy to arrange the survey. Tony was experienced, knowledgeable and very professional, turned up on time and explained carefully and in simple terms the defects that he found.
Highly recommended company delivering an excellent and on time product.

Good service when booking and quick to take your money off you but the rest was appalling. Firstly we booked a certain date which got cancelled in the morning they were due to arrive. When we were finally visited a week after the original booking date by Troy from ‘New home Quality Control’. He found a number of snags but the most worrying of things were deviations in the brickwork of up to 17mm in 3 areas along the side and rear of the house. This caused us serious worry and we were told by Troy that the only resolution was the builders will have to knock the wall down and rebuild it. We were also told that the company would argue our case for us if the housing developers say that what he’s found is incorrect. Also told if we have issues with this to call him and he will speak to the builders directly.

After giving the snagging report that this company produced to the developer they were quick to come and check this issue. They soon measured it and said it was within tolerance. However not being builders or knowing anything about building we weren’t confident that they were being truthful as we were told it was black and white that the brickwork had these issues. I contacted the snagger to ask his advice and received no response on a number of occasions.

Feeling like we were in limbo with no one fighting our corner, having to argue our case with site managers, building managers, the companies independent quality control manager etc etc. we paid for a brickwork surveyor to come out and check for us. He said that the brickwork is deemed within tolerance and there is nothing wrong with it.
We were then offered by our builders that if we were still unsure with the outcome for us to contact the nhbc as they also sign this off before we move in. So that’s what we did and we had them come and check it over for us. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the brickwork and it’s all within the nhbc tolerances. We contacted ‘New home quality control’ and told them we were having the nhbc come out to check this over with a date and time and we wanted them to either send the original snagger “Troy” out to come and prove his work and how he got to his conclusion. or for them to send someone else out who could attend as this is the result of their report. Their response was utterly disappointing and we were simply told we “we don’t do that”.
The snagger Troy should hold his head in shame for being uneducated in his own field he works in and causing the seriousness of his ill founded allegations. He was plainly wrong and this company didn’t want to prove this.

This company are simply robbing a living off of genuine people who don’t know about building and scaring them into thinking that they are either going to have their house knocked down or they stand to loose thousands of pounds when they come to sell it. They clearly don’t know the first thing that they are talking about.

BOYCOTT THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

Customer service when booking and at our house was fantastic.

Unfortunately we've had loads of snagging missed which we have been dealing with the builders for the last few weeks. Hence the delay in the review.

Feel really frustrated as its not a cheap thing to pay for when your moving house, to find that you have to do the snagging checks yourself anyway 😔

We had Cameron come out to inspect our new build property. He spent a good three+ hours at the house inspecting absolutely everything including appliances. Took probably 100+ pictures and follow up with an extensive report. Our staircase was set up by absolute immatures and everytime the site team came out, they couldn’t figure out why it looked the way it did. Cameron immediately figured it out and so made the conversation with the site team a lot easier. If you’re spending 100s of thousands on a house, it’s worth getting a snagging company to come out an inspect.

Excellent snagging company that talked us through what they were looking for and produced a fair report on our new build house. Orlando was knowledgeable, professional and I would highly recommend this company to anyone buying a new build house. Noticed things we couldn't have tested ourselves!

"Good comms but lots of missed snags"

Good company to deal with in terms of booking appointment, however lots of snags missed unfortunately such as open drains under the utility cupboard as an example, so largely a waste of money for us. Feels kind of pointless.
