"Top service, Top inspection"

Top service, top inspection. I didn't know my completion date and they had no problems moving the dates around and my stupid questions. Had my inspection at 7am by Gianluca, wholly professional the entire time, and really nice guy, the inspection was done at around 9:30ish, by 11:46am the same day I had the full report with pictures and notes everything. The price was great but for this level of service I would of happily paid more. I would highly recommend you to use New Home Quality Control if your having a new build snagging survey, I'll be definitely booking in another at the end of the developer warranty. Cheers guys.

We purchased a new build property and wanted to be 100% confident the quality was up to the standard of what we paid for, and after seeing many videos of past inspections on the "absolutely shocking" new properties we decided to choose New Home Quality Control to find any issues we might've missed.

Booking was very simple and the team were incredibly accommodating to reschedule with us around the uncertainty of the developer's completion date. On the day of inspection we were given a tropical holiday inside the property while a thermal inspection of outside and inside the property took place, followed by a thorough inspection of each and every area of the property while Orlando explained clearly to us each issue that he spotted and answered any questions we had. The following day we received a very detailed report with images outlining all the issues for us to pass onto the developer to address, which they were surprisingly quick to respond to.

Great communication from start to finish, pre booked and available as soon as I had a move in date. Did a thorough inspection and provided report in time for my review with the developer.

"Helpful perspective, but more attention needed on functional issues"

As first time home buyers, we found reassurance in getting a professional snagging inspection. Our report included around 256 issues, most of them cosmetic, but there were a couple of important ones that we reported to the builder as a result.
We also got the thermal imaging + cavity inspection bundle, which was very helpful.
That being said, I would have preferred the inspector to focus more on the structural issues, rather than counting all the smudges on the walls. There are a number of more important issues we have found since the inspection, that could have been identified from the beginning with more thorough checking and would have saved us time and head-scratching thinking 'is this supposed to be this way'.
We also did not appreciate that the inspector left holes in the masonry after doing the cavity inspection, saying this is on us to cover up. Not really a 850 GBP service. We later confirmed with the office that holes needed to be covered on the day, so the inspector came back and filled them.
I'd still recommend getting a professional inspection, especially if you're new to home builds, but try to not be shocked by the wow factor of the number of snags, and rather focus on what's actually going to make an improvement to your life in that house.

As a home owner, we can spot the cosmetic imperfection but NHQC can quote relevant building standards to back up all the snags on the survey report. We booked a snagging inspection prior to completing on our property. Lee was very accommodating with changes of dates and was very quick to respond to emails.
Orlando's report was very thorough and the developer said it was a very reasonable list of snags. They went to work on rectifying the identified issues straight away. We were sent the report the next day and NHQC did great in getting the report to us prior to completion.

I had a snagging survey carried out the day after I received the keys for my first home. The survey was carried out quickly and covered areas that could have caused issues further down the line which I wouldn't have noticed. The report was provided 2 days later and was very thorough with pictures included to illustrate each snag found. This was very useful when discussing with the builder and agreeing an action plan for correcting each issue. I would 100% recommend for anyone buying a new build.
