"Great Device and App Integrated Service!"

I haven't been using it very often, but the device and app work well, and are integrated perfectly with each other. I'm so happy to have found a homegrown Canadian company that solves the problem of small business debit sales on the road. I've been recommending it to all my friends who are just starting up, and we hope to continue using it well into the future growth of our businesses.

"I like that I can take debit and credit …"

I like that I can take debit and credit on the same machine, but I find the steps too long and not as smooth as it could be. Just one swipe of a card or placing the card into the machine rather than have to utilize the phone and the machine at the same time makes the client wait too long. The Bluetooth times out and I have to start over with my next client. Too much work. A small machine like the square would be more user friendly and more convenient for the customer. Thank you for this opportunity to let you know what I have been thinking.

"A basic product with no support to speak of"

For someone with neuropathy, having to input all the products over a phone is excruciatingly painful (I am talking real physical pain here, not just the anguish from extreme tediousness of having to type out everything without any way to add product categories or to streamline the process or entering your entire catalog.
And don't expect to get support, either; there isn't even a message board where you can contact other users, no email, no chat support, only a FAQ with practically nothing on it, and a phone number that isn't actually functional.
A frustrating experience overall; it gets two stars because it is cheap, but you get what you pay for, definitely.

"Finally I can offer Debit payments at my home studio!"

It's wonderful to be able to accept debit at my home based business for only .25 per transaction! I ordered it online and even with the free shipping it arrived very quickly. They have 24/7 phone support, which is great. My only issue was that it came with a very poor quality charger cord which got stuck in the reader and when I tried to pull it out the cord separated from the piece that fits into the slot on the unit. I phoned for support but the rep couldn't help me, it had to be escalated to a technician. By the time I finally heard back from them (4 business days later plus spanning the weekend) I was told a new unit had already been sent. It would have been nice if they had just told me that. I was also told this was a known issue. The new cord finally arrived another 4 days later and was a much better quality. If it was a known issue I think they should just pull those charging cords completely rather than sending them out and wasting a week and a half and frustraction over the return. All in all though, it's very slick and easy to use.

"So far so good"

So far, so good. I love being able to accept debit. I love the wireless connection between the unit and my phone, my customers love the tap function for credit cards. My unit won't hold a charge though so I emailed the company and they are going to send me a replacement. If that fixes the problem they will get 5 stars from me.

So Far, a great experience, no troubles. I think that the backoffice side of things can be expanded to compete with other mobile card readers competitors

"I love the machine it works flawlessly …"

I love the machine it works flawlessly but the cord leaves a little to be desired. When unplugging the unit from the machine the cap over the wires comes lose every time I unplug it.

Great for very basic transactions - very frustrating for anything else

Needs to be able to:
-mass upload items for product catalog
-allow for applying discount at check out
-allow for some customization of electronic receipt - i.e return policy!!!
-allow for return of one of multiple items on one bill
-customer service needs phone system that works - often disconnected, very low volume; cannot hear service agents

Above frustrations have us considering changing vendors.

However, system has always connected (have not had to lose sales based on connection), fast and reliable daily deposits into our bank. Enjoy online web dashboard to track our sales and see graphs, summaries etc.
