I have just purchased Dream payments in December. The setup went well and I look forward to using it live when i start with the farmers market.

I was excited to get my Dream Payments machine - the price was right and it arrived quickly to my house. I had a few troubles setting it up but the Customer Service reps were excellent and able to get my issue sorted out for me in a reasonable amount of time.
The fact that it syncs completely with Quickbooks was one of the biggest factors for me in getting this system. So thank you for having that as an option.
Where I have run in to trouble - at one of my biggest shows the device stopped working! Thank god I had my Square with me as a back up or I would have lost thousands of dollars in sales. I'm now wary that it will happen again. The day it happened, many of the other vendors that also use the system experienced the same error. As a small business that can wipe me out.
Also, it randomly gives the option to tap? I'm not sure why but it doesn't have the option on every transaction, though people will have a tap card they have to insert the card instead. Maybe you have a solution to this error?
Overall, I'm happy with the product!

this has been easy to use and having it available has allowed me to get sales i would not have been able to without the use of debit cards. I did run into a snag one time when i had no wifi and it didn't work over data only.

Purchase was smooth. Shipping was delayed. Unit is well made, very easy to set up and use.
Love the catalog feature. Love not paying a month fee to have unit in hand.
Only draw back is the crappy battery life. If you use it in a store -keep it plugged in.
If you're at a show and haven't charged it before hand - bring a power bank to charge it.

"Very happy with my Dream Payment"
I really like using dream payments. It was very easy to set up and get started. The interface is easy to use and I loved that I had the ability to take debit transactions as well as credit cards. I have only one complaint and it seems that the battery life of the card reader could be extended. But I never go to a sale without my charging cable so as to not run out of battery in the middle of an event. This would be the one thing that I would like improved in the unit.

I love it. It would be great if you could add the option of sending invoices to the customers so you can take payment without having to be with the customers. Or at least have a manual payment system.

Good unit, useful in that it takes chip and PIN and keeps its attachment to the Ipad on Bluetooth. When I had a problem while at a show with it, and the unit needed to be replaced, they brought a replacement to me at the show. I couldn't get that service from their customer service dept, but a message on their Facebook site got someone in within an hour as their office is located right near the show venue. Great save on their behalf, I was totally flabbergasted! Better reporting is something they could work on.
