This was my second experience of dealing with Rhonda Muirhead after my father passed away just 9 months after my mother. I specifically requested to have Rhonda be my arranger as she was so amazing with mum. "Just lost my grandma a month ago"

Just lost my grandma a month ago, the most painful moment and experience of my life I can’t fault this company more specifically Sue Willis.
She has been amazing through it all. Helping me with stuff when I didn’t have a clue what I was doing always advising and making sure everything was ok.
Grandma had a beautiful funeral and I also can’t thank enough the funeral director Darren. They was so respectful towards everything and our family.
Their kindness meant a lot in this difficult time!

Memoria Funerals are exceptional they are caring and compassionate.
Having never arranged a cremation before I was led through by Quona,she answered many questions and was extremely helpful when I phoned with queries. The lady who phoned me about a further transport cost (Andy was a big lad and had to go to Barnby Moor) she was most apologetic.
On Andy returning home Ian H (?) was very respectful towards Rhys and myself until he found out about the ceremony we had planned..Viking lifeboat urn,set on fire and out to sea.. Andy would have liked it we had a chuckle over it In no way was he disrespectful
As Andy said "up the chimney and out to sea"
Memoria Funerals I would recommend to any one wishing a no fuss cremation.

P.S Thank you also to the drivers who collected Andy and made sure that my written wishes were followed,the clothes,the photo and the aftershave and for reminding me that his earring was still with him and made sure it came back to me as well. Very thoughtful and respectful

"First experience of direct cremation"

This was our first experience of a direct funeral but my aunt wanted a very simple funeral and as our small family is dispersed across the country, this seemed like the perfect solution. I chose Memoria funerals purely because they have recently built a beautiful new crematorium near to where I live and from the first contact, Sam Duffet was compassionate but also very efficient and kept me updated where necessary without being intrusive. As my aunt died in hospital, the standard NHS delays meant that the medical certification of her death required for registration took over two weeks but Sam liaised with the hospital and made sure that my aunt was collected as soon as possible and arranged that her cremation took place very soon after. The experience was no fuss but with just the right amount of respect and compassion.We can now get on with bringing our dispersed family together to celebrate our aunt's 95 years of life with one of the family Sunday Lunches that she loved so much. The experience has sold me on direct funerals and I fully intend to take out a pre-paid plan with this company so that my children can have the same experience as I did.
