"Power Murfreesboro tactics "

We had Power come out and provide us with an estimate for our roof replacement. The salesmen were at our home for about 4 hours. Their sales process is very high pressure. They give you a price that is guaranteed for a year but if you buy today we can sell it to you for this lower price. That price is only good until they leave. Their philosophy is that they have spent so much time that to give you that lower price would cost them money because their salesmen have to come back. The price discount was several thousand dollars. We went and agreed to a price. First issue was the drip rail was to be bronze. What was delivered was grey, stopped work and discovered that the vendor claimed this was bronze.
Power and I both agreed it was grey. Foreman went and got brown. ( Why does salesman not have small samples of the product for color clarification.). Due to the drip rail and weather they had to return the next day. They did not inform us they were leaving went outside and they were gone. 2 gentleman showed up to finish the work the next morning and neither spoke English. We had quality issues with the work completion and they left and we got to deal with the office. A project Manager and roofer showed up the next day and fixed the issues.

When we agreed to the price it included replacement of 12 sheets of OSB the salesman promised us that if they did not use it all we would be reimbursed for the OSB that was returned. 1.5 sheets were used and we still have not seen reimbursement for the material that was not used. They assured us that they would pick up when the job was complete. This work was performed 2 weeks ago and we pick up 4-5 nails daily in the driveway. Overall they use quality material. You have to pay close attention to what they are doing or they will cut corners. Not sure I would use them again.

"THE WORST DECISION I EVER MADE – THIS COMPANY DESTROYED MY HOME."

We hired this company to replace every window in our house, including what they proudly called the largest window unit they had ever installed. My husband worked closely with them to complete the job. They were polite, responsive, and full of promises—right up until they got our money.

Soon after installation, the massive window began to leak. They came back to replace part of it, then returned again to add braces, admitting it was too heavy. But the truth is—they never anchored it properly. Now it’s pulling on our roof, causing flooding every time it rains. Our interior has been severely damaged—floors warped, walls ruined, and constant stress trying to keep up with the mess.

To make matters worse, every window they installed is now covered in spots and sun damage. The materials are clearly low-quality and not built to last. What should’ve been a solid investment has turned into a complete nightmare.

They promised to come back and fix the major issues in April of last year—and never showed. And the final slap in the face? They’ve been sending salespeople to our house, trying to drum up new business, while ignoring the disaster they left behind.

We are filing a formal report, and I will be posting this experience on every platform possible. Their customer service is nonexistent, their installation was negligent, and they refuse to take responsibility for the damage they’ve caused.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. They do not stand by their work, and once they’ve been paid, they disappear. This was a heartbreaking and costly mistake.

"If you respect your time, stay away"

Every review you read about the unethical aggressive sales experience is true.

They came to our door once, unsolicited. Asked us for way too much information - tried pressuring us into getting an estimate for 8 windows. I told them I only wanted 2 windows measured. They told us they only do 8 at a time. Told them to leave and they did so begrudgingly.

They came back 4 weeks later and said ok let’s just do 2. Weird, but ok we scheduled an apt. The guy came and started w the slimy / pushy sales tactics. Also proceeded to measure and inspect every window in the house LOL

Btw - this is all after a 30 min “mandatory” PowerPoint presentation on the guys tablet.

Don’t book your “free” estimate unless you want a stranger making themselves at home in your house doing anything other than measuring and giving an estimate for 3 hours.

"Extremely Disappointing and Deceptive Experience"

I had a very unpleasant experience with Power Home Remodeling. Initially, I agreed to a quick 20-minute free quote for my roof. Unfortunately, the representative arrived 10 minutes late and then stayed for over FOUR hours, using high-pressure sales tactics and an unnecessarily long presentation.

What was even more troubling was that the salesperson showed us pictures of a different attic, falsely claiming we had mold and water damage. A different roofer confirmed that there was no mold or damage as claimed.

Overall, this felt like a predatory and misleading experience. I strongly caution others to avoid this company.

"Poor Service, Poor Quality, and Unprofessional"

I am extremely dissatisfied with Power Home Remodeling, and I am at a loss for where to begin. I couldn't post my full review, so I had to paraphrase. Please see the full review on Google with pictures I uploaded.

WINDOWS PROJECT:
At 8.5 months pregnant, their sales representatives visited our home to offer us a window replacement. The salesperson insisted that we needed to replace all the windows on the main level of our ranch-style home at a considerable cost. Although I had previously used another window company with which I was very satisfied, I decided to give Power Home Remodeling a try since a neighbor had recently used their services.
When the installers arrived, they failed to bring the screen for my daughter’s large 2-part sliding window. As a result, she was unable to open the window for nearly a month. Given that it was fall and the weather was mild, this prevented her from enjoying fresh air.
Additionally, both the salesperson and the measuring technician (two separate individuals) mismeasured our kitchen window. We had selected a particular style for the kitchen, but upon installation, we discovered that the window was too large for the original style, forcing us to choose a different one.
Several days after the installation, we noticed several issues: the window in my newborn’s room failed to lock properly, and the lock stopper on my son's window was stuck, preventing it from opening fully. I contacted Power Home Remodeling for repairs. Despite calling in late October 2024, the earliest available repair date was in February 2025. The stuck stopper on my son's window, which posed a fire hazard due to its inability to open, should have been treated as an emergency, a fact I clearly communicated during the call.
Furthermore, I had to request multiple times for the installers to clean the excess caulk, glue, or whatever substance had been left on the windows. Cleaning new windows should be a basic standard, not an additional task. The installer cleaned one or two windows and then attempted to show me how to clean the others myself.

SIDING PROJECT:
The salesperson sells you on a project manager who is onsite, reviewing the work of the installers. BULLSHIT! The project manager came on the first day for several hours, and we never saw him again until I had to withhold my signature on several documents and make repeated calls to have a project manager review the final work (made me feel like I was inconveniencing them), and told me they have too many projects going on at once, so they can't be there to watch all of the projects simutaneously from start to finish!
Remember I told you I was going to give birth any day... I sure enough gave birth in the middle of the project and had pre-eclampsia at that! So now I'm being hounded to sign paperwork while I have several medical issues going on and I can't thoroughly review the work that was done on the house... Hence, I'm writing this review 5 months later, with 30 pictures to show the rushed and unprofessional work (now that I'm finally able to get out of the house).
When the siding was initially installed, there were several glaring issues. Because I hadn't signed all of the paperwork, I could get someone on the phone, and they actually came out asap because they wanted me to complete the paperwork! WARNING: DON'T SIGN THE PAPERWORK UNTIL YOU THOROUGHLY LOOK OVER THE JOB TO MAKE SURE IT'S PROFESSIONALLY DONE! If you can, get your township to come out and inspect the work. I guarantee, this job WOULD NOT have passed inspection in my township.
Because we didn't complete the paperwork, the installers were texting us and asking us to complete it because the company doesn't pay them because it's showing the job isn't complete! This was so uncomfortable, you feel bad for the workers, but at the same time, the company shouldn't be asking their "outsourced contractors" to hound their customers to sign paperwork so they can get paid (again shows they rushed the job for a paycheck)! WHICH ANOTHER THING, THEY SAY THEY DON'T OUTSOURCE THE WORK! THEY DEFINITELY DO!

The company has provided poor service and unprofessional work. Even though a Project Manager finally came out in October 2024, it's April of 2025 and I've noticed 30 additional things that they did not notice (it's their job to find these flaws in the project). Not only did they fail to meet basic expectations, but they also sold us on promises, such as the presence of a dedicated project manager, which they did not fulfill. We deserve to have these issues resolved promptly, and they should significantly reduce our bill (by thousands of dollars) to reflect the subpar work. We paid $44,000 for a project that was rushed and poorly executed. I will be escalating this matter to corporate and intend to pursue this issue until it is resolved.

"I am not a customer. This is about the sales experience"

I am not a customer. A door to door salesman came to see us and put the pressure on to provide an estimate. They asked for way too much information for an estimate. I talked to some of my neighbors and found the Power people keep up the high pressure sales till you block them.
They may do good work, but I can’t move beyond the bad sales tactics.

"Roof repair"

We had some major problems with our roof...under the shingles. A representative came out & took pictures that showed me what needed to be repaired/replaced & explained the cost. The crew came out & did the work efficiently. They actually took pictures of the men working. The lead man took me around and showed the work that had been done and asked if I had any questions. He was very informative about answering my questions. All involved were very courteous and took time for any questions or concerns. My roof looks great & I feel so much more at ease & safe knowing the repairs are under warranty.

"Quality Workmanship"

Excellent sales team, quality workmanship & ease of project from start to finish. Had all new windows, gutters & siding/trim installed & we are thrilled with the results. Our home is warmer in winter than it's ever been! Other tradesman that have seen our gutters & said they haven't seen such quality work in years. It was a genuine treat to work with all the staff at Power Home Remodeling & we would be proud to recommend them to anyone in the future!
