"They blocked my data many many times…"

They blocked my data many many times after I asked them to unblock it in store customer support, and phone customer support. I told them I don’t mind paying for the over usage. But they kept blocking my data.
I needed to use my phone at work. I know my data usage was exceeding the plan. But please do not block it.
I had same conversation with your costumer support representatives 7 times they even said they put note on my account so that would never happen.
Then that happened over and over again.

Horribly unorganized service.

国際電話などsmsをカナダ以外で使えないです。私はカナダからの海外旅行で銀行のログインのsmsに送られてくる2重パスコードが受け取れなくてすごい大変でしたので、カナダから海外旅行にいかれる方などは本当に注意してください。
この件に関して旅行中問い合わせましたがなんの解決策もないと一言で終わらされました。
結局銀行に電話して登録してる電話番号をかえてもらいました、

"Is this a real company? There is no customer service at all!"

My friend referred this PhoneBox to me and I decided to give it a try. I was a bit confused about my phone's eSIM compatibility so I chose eSIM in the beginning. Everything went as supposed until I tried to scan the QRCode to load the eSIM card. It didn't go through. I called the customer service number and it was answered. That's the only time the phone was answered and I didn't know at that moment.
Someone tried to help me and we figured out later that we should go with a physical SIM card.
Then the nightmare started. My phone number was ported out from Bell to PhoneBox already to the eSIM card and I was not able to register the new physical SIM card with my phone number. I tried to call the customer service many many times and no one answered the phone. I tried to leave a message and no answer. I tried to leave a callback number and no one calls back.
When you need help, there is no one. They just disappeared.

"prepaid SIM card "

On May 4, I bought a 20 GB prepaid SIM card for use in Canada through the Phone Box company website. It cost 45 Canadian dollars.
My daughter needed it from May 25 to June 6.
Since sending the SIM card to our place of residence in Estonia would have taken up to 30 working days, I set the SIM card receiving address to 621 Rue Notre Dame Est, H2Y0C2 Montréal (it is mandatory to fill in all fields when purchasing a card). Delivery was supposed to take up to 7 working days.
On May 9, I also received an email that the card had been sent.
On May 25, I received the mobile number of the SIM card by e-mail, but the SIM card still had not arrived.
The Phone Box e-service said that the card was not sent because I did not provide the address where the card should be delivered. It was a clear lie, because without the delivery address, I would not have been able to buy the goods.
Now we have to wait again to get the card.
At the same time, the daughter was advised to go to a Telius office and buy a SIM card there.
But since she came to Canada for two weeks to study and work, she is very busy and simply has no opportunity to visit any store to buy new SIM cards.
After repeated inquiries and repeated explanations, I received a new email on May 27 in which Phone Box asked to wait another 1-2 working days. And we waited again.
On May 29, I made a new request about the arrival of the SIM card and again I had to explain everything again. I also suggested that PhoneBox could arrange for the new SIM card to be sent to the daughter's hotel through the local Telius.
Once again, it was allowed to send information by e-mail as soon as the service has received a response from the management.
I knew that 20 GB is a lot even for two weeks, but I wanted my daughter not to worry. However, a regular user will definitely not use it up in one week. However, there is nothing to do with this SIM outside of Canada.

I have read that many Canadians are also having problems with this company. This is why i want to share with Canadian people my experience with a telecommunications company PhoeneBox

"El mejor plan para Canadá "

Desde España me ofrecían pagar 45€ al mes por 7gb mensuales para la estancia de i hija de un año.

Contraté 50Gb por 55CAD más impuestos. A los dos meses bajaron tarifas, y por 45CAD más impuestos tenían 60gb

Desde hace dos meses tengo la tarifa ilimitada por 50CAD más impuestos, con lo que se evitan sustos ya que cada gb adicional son 15CAD.

Incluye llamadas ilimitadas en Canadá y a España aunque siempre llamamos por WhatsApp.

"False Data Charge of CAD$435 for ONE DAY"

Excess data charge of CAD435 with PhoneBox claiming 40GB was used in a SINGLE day. This is the equivalent of streaming Netflix on HD for 13 hours! Mobile phone was on wifi for majority of that day and usage either side of that day for weeks was low. The graph that they eventually provided to show usage was manually constructed. After many weeks of dispute they agreed to an 80% refund but then claimed that the refund attempt failed. Have logged formal complaint with CCTS to recover money.
