"Bidding Issues - Scam"
Can you tell me what the issue is? I have been bidding on a few joblots over the past week and for one reason or another I have been missing out on the winning bid! 1) Kept getting kicked out of my account for around 48 hours which resulted in auctions I was bidding on being sold to other sellers for less than I'd have paid. 2) I am now being told that an auction I have been able to bid on yesterday is no longer allowing me to bid stating it is unable to deliver to my postcode? Tell me I'm wrong but there seems to be something untoward going on here.
I have contacted Customer Service every day and they are unable to give me a solution - just apologies!
*Thank you for your response on Trustpilot (no response via the email you provided)! No investigation as to why you block bidders on certain items they were previously bidding on and winning?

"Such a shame"
Such a shame, this should be an amazing resource, but it just doesn’t work. Initially all seemed good… but then, some items sent individually (apparently, still not received) so a small item, huge postal cost, and then… the account is frozen, they want VAT info that they already have, but hey ho, so send that, email them, email them, email them… nothing, but account then randomly works again.
One good day and then… you can’t bid, you get taken back to login, over and over again, then up pops the ‘we need VAT info’ then that goes, you bid, then guess what, back to login.
I’ve deleted all caches and browsing history, used a different device, then another and still cannot use the site.
So far, I’ve received one pallet of crap, I expected some broken things, but none of it was packaged, so very little survived the delivery.
I also received 3 boxes of stuff, can’t complain, mostly ok, but the postage costs don’t seem to stack up, they are far higher than they should be considering they must send out hundreds of things a day, why does the postage cost twice what the goods do?
But even then, I’d still purchase, except I can’t!!!! Back to the eternal loop of trying to log in, log in fine, try to bid, back to log in.
So fed up, how do they still have a business!!!

I recently bought a few items from Jobalots, and I have to say, the process was pretty smooth overall. The website’s easy to use, and the auction format keeps things exciting. My order arrived quickly and offered great value for the price.
What really stood out was the help I got from Mark in customer support. I emailed about a shipping issue, and he replied the same day with a polite, clear explanation and some options to sort it out. Mark’s friendly approach made me feel heard, which I appreciated.
I’d recommend Jobalots to anyone who enjoys a bargain hunt. Big thanks to Mark for making the experience even better!

have used this company since it began but its become so bad and thats a real shame!, i watched it go from strength to strength, then they created a new website, eradicated any customer service they had and wrecked a fantastic auction website that has top[ quality stuff on offer, and yes they continue to operate a very broken website, and will ignore every plea from you to deal with anything at all...and your gonna deal with lots and lots and lots of issues, ghost auctions you will never win, auctions you win and then 30 seconds after it cleary says you have won, there is another bid and the timer adds on 3 minutes again ! bit of a joke..then there is the stuff that never turns up, items that turns up fake, or nothing even remotely like for like in terms of auction listing discrepancy which i know is standard, but sending an empty shoe box instead of dvd player is a bit off! but even if you have even the simplest of issues you need sorting it will take them upto a month to get back to you if they ever do, they are however exceptionally good at automated generic replies to your emails....but they will ignore what your asking until you stop asking and go away. which kinda shows, there is no customer service department, and the workers they have in support cant support you with anything, your 100% getting palmed off with i have to ask a manager every single time which takes weeks and no managers ever answer.....and round and round and round you go.
take my word for it and avoid these guys presently or you will regret it! I kinda hope it changes soon, but ive been hoping a while now, and have since bought elsewhere as jobalots are incapable of fixing some very simple tec issues on the website which cause havoc, and thats before they ever get to addressing the non existent customer service issue you will face guys.

I've always loved shopping here, but today, even though I was the only bidder on about 8 items, I didn't win the auction and lost the items.
No one in support has been any help.
I'm very upset and disappointed, and no one has addressed it.
Ever since the new website, it's been going to hell.
I won't be ordering again unfortunately..

Jobalots used to be great, but since the system ‘upgrade’ in October 2024 it is a total disaster. Nothing seems to work as it should, when things go wrong which they invariably do, it is always the customers fault. Such a shame as you used to be able to get some absolute bargains, now you’re just likely to get burnt. Avoid.

Kiedyś byłem fanem tej strony (chociaz moje poczatki z nimi były fatalne - gdzies juz jest tytaj moja ocena) i wszystko było ok (prawie wszystko ale dawali radę) ale teraz jak włączyli nową stronę to jakaś porażka. Ceny z kosmosu, nie wiadomo kto licytuje (kiedyś były nickname dzisiaj jakiś ciąg literek i cyfr) Zauważyłem że za produkt po zwrocie (Neon 6m) licytacja wynosi 90Euro gdy w "normalnym" sklepie można taki nowy neon kupić za 25euro!!!
Naprawdę zawiodłem się na tej platformie i mam nadzieję że się poprawią bo czasami można naprawdę fajną rzecz "upolować"
